great staff, very clean, good facilities for the price. also a handy location to the trains - despite the distance from some central parts of Tokyo.
Great hostel, part of the Khao San chain. Very well run, efficient. Good common room. Great amenities. Very helpful staff. Closest station is part of the main JR line which is handy to get to places like Shinjuku and Shibuya
The staff were the best thing about this hostel, they are lovely people. Everything is clean, efficient and works well, I can't fault anything at all. For solo travellers, it may be a good idea to consider one of the other Khao San Tokyo hostels - I found it hard to get talking to anyone here due to the quiet, calm atmosphere.
Very good hostel, located close to JR asakusabashi station and also very close to all the sites in the Taito district in Tokyo. Easy access to Tokyo central station so coming and going is a breeze. Hostel is a bit plain but is professionally run so is clean and has helpful staff. Good common room. Would stay here again.
Staff is friendly, but the location is poor. It is far away from the tourist attraction. it took lots of time on transit in metro.
Great hostel! Very nice staff and enough of them speak English. It was very clean and 2 showers and 4 sinks on each floor, so it's never crowded. 10 minute walk from amazing Akihabara!!! And also just a 5 minute walk from the trainstation. Also the common room is big and nice. I would definitely go here the next time I go to Tokyo!
Stayed in one of the pods for eight nights recently and had the best time. The bathrooms are super clean, lockers are available on the fourth floor for valuables and in the basement there are communal kitchen facilities, including tea and coffee. 2 minute walk to a JR station (Bakurochu) and 5 minute walk to a metro station (Asakusabashi) made it really easy to get around Tokyo by train. Would definitely stay there again!
The staff was awesome! Made us feel at home. :) The location is pretty central to a lot of tourist attractions in Tokyo.

Really epic stay, staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Came with no plan and when I left I had mapped out pretty much my entire trip. Would definitely stay again
These guys run a great hostel. Good atmosphere. Excellent for meeting other travelers. Staff speaks English really well and are a pretty good help with whatever you need. I would stay at any of the khaosan hostels based on my stay at KTN!
Great stay, handy location seconds from subway. Very friendly and helpful staff, one even let me borrow his own umbrella for the day as the hostel had ran out. Nice common area, and clean. Only downside is dorms are quite tight for space - but I guess this is the busiest city in the world so can't complain!
I had a great time at Khaosan Tokyo Ninja. The atmosphere is great and I think it is a because of the extremely polite and helpful staff, the great location close to Akihabara - in combination with all the other great people who stay in the hostel. Beds are nice, showers fresh and the wifi works well. The downstairs basement hangout is a great place to meet other backpackers.
I enjoyed the cabin beds in the dorms very much. Such a nice idea, I have never seen it anywhere else. All in all though the feeling I got from this hostel was very basic, everything was okay but not super.
Awesome place. There were plenty of security measures, and the beds were very clean. The staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
Great hostel. The capsules are very comfortable and have good privacy. The Kitchen and common area was cool and the staff really friendly. I met some great people travelling there as well
Great room, very helpful staff, everything was very clean, you can lock away your stuff in your bed. Only thing is the poor air-conditioning but otherwise excellent value.
Value for money, really nice staff. I slept in a capsule room which was really convenient because I could lock it up, so I just put all my stuff in there. Location was good too, near Asakusabashi station. The only things missing were an elevator and a washing mashine (though across the street there is one). Overall very pleasant stay.
Welcoming and helpful staff. Hostel is located very close to a JR station which was what we needed to get to the airport. The beds in the 20 deluxe "cabin style" dorm aren't very comfortable, but we were there for just one night, so it did the job. The room and bathroom are clean and pretty spacious. The lounge is a nice place to hang out and meet people. I would definitely recommend this place.
