For travellers flying into Tokyo, Khaosan Tokyo Original is in a great location; it's set next to Asakusa station, serving trains going directly to Tokyo International Airport. Hostelworld guests have praised this hostel for its cosy atmosphere, saying it's easy to meet other travellers as well as the very helpful and friendly staff. We like the views across the river from their rooftop terrace; there's also a popular café next door and onsite laundry facilities.

We’re located five minutes’ walk from Kaminari-mon Gate and Nakamise shopping street in the centre of the Asakusa area.
We do not offer luxury five-star accommodation; however, our concept is to be great value, comfortable, clean and friendly for all guests.
We welcome guests from all over the world and we believe your stay with us will definitely be a pleasant one!
We’re only one minutes’ walk from Asakusa Station on the Ginza and Toei Asakusa metro lines. This means we’re also in a convenient location relative to Narita Airport.
Guests can wake up to breathtaking riverside views from their rooms and from our rooftop. Our hostel features a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy living room.
Free lockers are provided in the shared dorm rooms and linens are included, with pillowcase, bed sheets and blankets.
Facilities include free PC and Wi-Fi, shared shower rooms and bathrooms and coin-operated washing machines for only 200Yen per wash. Free tea and coffee are provided.
We are afraid that we’re unable to accommodate children under 10 years old.

I think we're in the perfect location - super close to Asakusa Sation, with Senso-ji Temple just five minutes' walk away. There's also a lot of Japanese restaurants in this district that I recommend.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Business Hours: 08:00 - 21:00.
Check-in: 15:00 - 21:00.
Check-out: 08:00 - 11:00.
Arrangements can be made for early check-out and late check-in. Informing us in advance is preferable.
We adhere to the check-in times in order to accommodate our housekeeping service from 11:00 - 15:00.
Free Luggage Storage: 08:00 - 19:00.
We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 1 day before the accommodation date shall be charged for 50% of their total booking. Cancellations made on the scheduled day of arrival shall be charged for 100% of their total booking. Based on our reception business hour, 08:00 ~ 21:00 in Japan Standard Time.
If we could not confirm your arrival by 24:00 (midnight), we consider the guest as a no-show and we will cancel the booking. Please note that we charge 100% for the first night and 50% for the second night in this case.
The 10% deposit for any booking is non-refundable and non-replaceable in case of cancellation and booking arrangement.
If you would like to change your booking date, please inform us your amendment details via email. ( in your earliest convenience is preferable - at least two days before). Because of the fact that we basically arrange your booking in accordance with our cancellation policy. Our contact information will be in your booking confirmation email.
Payment is due upon arrival by cash only please. We only accept Japanese Yen. We do not accept credit or debit cards so please make sure to have Yen cash before getting here.
We do not permit guests under the age of 10.
We are backpackers' hostel and all our facilities are a shared basis. All the beds in our hostel are bunk beds.
We accept a maximum of eight people in a group.
