the location is good, but the rooms and bathroom are very small. i find it difficult to move my luggage to second floor because the stair is very narrow. Heater in my room didn't work well.

this hostel was ok. I found it very very small - but typical of tokyo I guess. it was a little difficult to find but handy to local train stops. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff and location. Some issues with cleanliness and other noisy room mates.

We love our stay at Khaosan Tokyo Original. The Staff was so friendly and helpful, while the beds were clean and comfortable. It had a great location right near a metro stop and near to many local attractions. We could not have hoped for a better experience, and hope to come back and visit someday day soon. Thanks for a great time!

Really good, but rooms are small and bath time can be tricky. The location is really good and the neighborhood have a lot of shops and places to eat.

Good location, with only a short walk to the metro ginza line from were you can easily reach most of Tokyo. The staff was very helpful even if they had som troubles with the english language. The twinrooms was VERY small but overall i think this is a great hostel.

The only good thing about this hostel is the proximity to the asakusa metro station. Other than that, the facilities are poor. No heater at sinks, bathroom only available on second floor, poor hygiene of mattresses, lack of slippers so you have to walk in your own socks . Staff is not very friendly either. I stayed in a double bed private room and it was so small that after putting my luggage on the floor there is limited space to move around.

I stayed just for one night right before Christmas. On the morning of Christmas Eve, there was a small bag of goodies in the living room for each person that was staying. I never expected to be given a gift from a hostel! Thank you!

A bit cramped but overall fairly good experience. Bunk bed mattresses are a bit thin. Small lounge. Lockers on the outside of the rooms. Nice to have a lamp on the bed. Fantastic location - super close to subway station.

nice hostel, nice location. everything is a bit crowded, but still good value for money. we had a double room (bunk beds) and stayed only for 1 night. There was practically no room to put our two backpacks + daypacks. But for short stay it's okay.

The twin room is too small. We have problems handling our luggage in the room.
