LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Ive been to tokyo before and Asakusa is THE place to stay. This hostel is the best located of any hostel in Asakusa right on the river with great views from the roof. enjoyed an early morning run but you are still close to the hustle and bustle of tokyo if you want it. staff were so nice. great kitchen area with high chairs and cooking facilities. lady at reception with the short hair was so so cool and the boys are nice too. Security very good. Thanks ROISIN FRENCH x
A good, budget-friendly hostel. My only criticism is that the lockers are very small and not very secure. But aside from that, it's a pleasant place to stay with all the amenities you'd need.
Hostel is in a great location, very very close to Asakusa. I can't really comment on much as I only stayed one night but the staff seemed friendly, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot.
If I will ever be back to Tokyo I will definetely stay at your hostel. Although Asakusa is located quite far from most of the Tokyo's town, the town itself is my favourite, and the nice stuff of the hostel, the great atmosphere there contributes to that feeling greatly. I regret now that I needed to postpone my arrival :) The hostel itself is rather small, at least from my perspective, but very clean and pleasant to be in.
I really enjoyed my stay in Khaosan Tokyo Original. The room was tiny, but I had a wonderful view at tue Sumida river. The staff was really lovely ans helpful. When we couldn't get out of Tokyo because of the Taifun, they helped us to find another hostel for the night. The area is excellent for exploring the city.
One of the best places we stayed during our time in Japan. Would definitely stay again.
The room is tiny, but overall the place is good, especially the location, 1 minute walk to Asakusa subway station. The people who run the hostel are friendly and they gave us a gift when we left, which is appreciated. Good place to stay in Tokyo.
Stayed for 3 nights, the 2nd floor has very low ceiling so upper bunk bed is uncomfortable even though I am just the avarage Asian size. The staff however are friendly, common room is a great place to meet people, facility is okay. It is actually very close to subway station and not hard to find at all.
This hostel is very recommended for budget travelers. the rent is not so expensive, only 2500 JPY for female dormitory. but the facilities is very good (strength wifi signal, clean bedroom and shower room, and also lots of kitchen equipment that you can use). the location near to subway station (1 min walk). i'm very very happy to stay there :)

amazing stay at my stay there , forget my luggage but chieko very helpful, will be come back again for sure in my next japan trip
Great place. Small as all the hostels in Japan but still comfortable and their staff is the best, really helpful and attentive with every guest. Im glad I chose to stay here. Highly recommended.
Roof top benches and view were unreal...rooms were very cramped/ bunk-bed type...but its pretty standard for Tokyo - that roof makes the price well worth it though.
The hostel has everything you need and the employees are really friendly, but it is very cramped even by Tokyo standards. It was a good place for us to stay because it was located walking distance from the Sumo Stadium and the Senso-Ji Temple. If you are looking to stay an entire week in Tokyo, I would recommend going somewhere else. Staying for a couple of days to see the immediate area is good though. It is also very easy to get to the hostel from Haneda airport...no train change required.
The lockers were too small to put a rucksack into, and the hostel is far away from the major party scenes, so to go out at night, you either have to take the last train back at midnight or first train at 5 am. Cabs are expensive. The 1 shower and toilet rooms are down in common room, which is a little weird when people are hanging out there. But, it is easy access to airport and to some major sights, like senso-ji temple and sumo stadium. And I met good, fun people to hang out with there.
The place is average, but the atmosphere is excellent, and the staff are INCREDIBLE!
