What a treat it was to stay here! The building doubles up as a ryokan which might explain why the facilities are so nice and well kept. The kitchen is amazing. There are 5 cooking stations, each equipped with a stove and a sink. There are a couple long community tables, a group of couches and 4 vending machines including one for beer and another for hot food. They also have a lounge w/ a bar. The FD workers are nice, helpful, and all speak good English. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms as well!

Helpful English speaking people in the reception. Easy to find since it's close to the big View hotel that has a big sign you can see from far. The bed and facilities were nice and clean. I could go there again if I'm in the area.

Staff was really nice! We got in really late from our flight, but they made us feel very welcome. The held our bags till 10pm the following night! Location would be the only down side, but for the value the location was pretty good.

The staff were very accomodating, they even toured us around the hotel when we arrived. The rooms are clean and the bed was quite new. For the 10 bed mixed dorm they had power 3 outlets per bed which was really nice. The toilets and the shower rooms were also clea. They also have a kitchen where you can cook or eat. It's just that the hotel is just quite far from the Metro train stations, about 10 mins walk. When I return to Tokyo I will definitely stay here again (or recommend to a friend)!

World Asakusa is a good hostel to stay in Tokyo. The hostel is a building with 5 floors, 2 elevators, 1 big kitchen and a bar! The bar offer a party every thursday and was a great opportunity to made new friends. There are lockers inside the rooms and the rooms are extremely cleans (as all hostels around Japan) and the staff was awesome! They helped me with everything, touristic places, how to get there, etc.. There is a 7-Eleven (convenience store) just a fell steps from the hostel.

Very easy to get everywhere. Helpful staff. Just not very good to interact with other guests if you are travelling alone.

1) The staffs were friendly and warm 2) Feels like home and so comfortable 3) You learned how to live in Japan, for examples, when you going out you'll say, "Ittekimasu" and when you returned back you'll say, "Tadaima". 4) Love the free internet, free massage chair, cheap drinks from the vending machine, cheap laundry service 5) Strategic place, near to Tsukuba Station, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa Station, and shopping area
