Very easy to get everywhere. Helpful staff. Just not very good to interact with other guests if you are travelling alone.

1) The staffs were friendly and warm 2) Feels like home and so comfortable 3) You learned how to live in Japan, for examples, when you going out you'll say, "Ittekimasu" and when you returned back you'll say, "Tadaima". 4) Love the free internet, free massage chair, cheap drinks from the vending machine, cheap laundry service 5) Strategic place, near to Tsukuba Station, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa Station, and shopping area

I'm Japanese and spent quite a few nights at this hostel late last month and early this month. The dorm (both 8-bed and 10-bed) were quite spacious and clean. More details of my review are posted at TripAdvisor.

The roommates of our dorm were very noisy in the morning (6 am). It took them about three hours for them to just get ready and above all they left the room very messy. Ofcourse this was not the hostel's fault, they were in fact very friendly and helpful. Very good accommodations with showers in our dorm and public one's on every floor and very nice lounge areas. Also very close to senso ji.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Khaosan World Asakusa. Although the beds look tiny, it was comfortable and cozy once you get in. I was really impressed by the fact that we had showers and toilets in the rooms as well as on the floor - and they were always very clean. Usually shower time is not a happy time in hostels, but this was definitely not the case at Khaosan World. I also really enjoyed the jazz performance on Thursday! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The infrastructure in the Hostel is very good. The attention in general from the staff was good, they were willing to help whenever we have any doubt. We stay at first in a double bedroom, I would say that the beds are small for two people. Also there is a shame that they over charge you when you want to pay with Credit Cards, specially in a Country were the ATM don´t accept international debit cards of any type.

Great space for a Tokyo Hostel. Loved the green-lit bedroom units were very impressive. Excellent bathroom as well. Only negative were the lift doors...they really did try to crush us every time we went through them.

One of my favourite hostels in Tokyo! (And I've stayed in quite a few) It's not too expensive, the facilities are top-notch, the staff is friendly, helpful and professional, the beds are large and nicely self-contained, the guests are sociable, and there are always events going on! The location is easily accessible from Asakusa Tsukuba Express Stn and somewhat accessible from Ginza Line, and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Also there are PCs, vending machines and a kitchen for free use!

Stayed only a single night but was fairly close to areas of interest. They bar and lounge area were nice and enjoyable. Would stay again for sure.

Great facilities and everything kept very clean. Bunks were comfy and there is a toilet/shower and lockers in the 8 bed dorm room. Bar was excellent as well as the kitchen! Only stayed one night, but would highly recommend this from what I experienced :)

Inconvenient location with only metro a 10-min walk away, but Asakusa is a pretty old residential area that can be fun to stroll around in. Massive 24-h Don Quijote close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Chilled vibe in the lounge with excellent cooking fascilities.
