good location, slightly difficult to find 1st time tho. staff friendly and place is very clean as they also live there which is a bit strange.

i loved this hostel, it was clean and in an excellent location. the staff were helpful and the manager Lyba speaks fluent English and is welcoming, she made me and my friend feel at home far from home. 15 min walk to St. Sophias and 20 mins from the main street Kreschatik. nice restaurants locally £4 / $7 should buy you a main course and a drink. i will be back in Kiev soon, and will definitely be back at kiev art.

genuinely, it is the really lovely place to stay in.Nicely decorated and conveniently located hostel. you will never get cold over there coz of the efficiently working heating and local champagne shared with a manager.

Certainly a very unusual hostel and probably not for everyone. It feels more like staying in someones apartment than in a hostel. Very nice and helpful staff though and lots of character. If you want the more anonymous type of standard hostel you should look elsewhere but for a different experience this was perfect.

I can absolutely recommend the hostel. It is a very nice, clean and tasteful place with very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived in the hostel under rather special and inconvenient conditions: I was robbed in the Metro. So I had no money, no credit card and no food. The manager allowed me to stay, helped me with telephone calls and offered me food. I would like to thank them again for the warm welcome and excellent help. Günther (from Germany)

confusing place. it seems comfortable but feels unfriendly. the girl who runs it apparently never leaves the place which could explain her lack of enthusiasm in giving invaluable advice. nicely decorated with art, and her friends who monopolise the television. washing machine is 20 uah. the hostel is a small flat converted into a hostel with beds everywhere. i'd go, but i've been to better, and worse

This was a brilliant hostel. I read some of the other reviews that mentioned there was a cost to leave my bag etc, but didn't experiance any of this. The owners were really friendly and helpful We were able to sort out taxi transfers to the Hostel via them, and they reccomended all the sights and pubs for us to visit. Being quite young they were very in touch with what was happening and the level of english was amazing. The hostel itself is very tidy and well located and connected.
