I like this place! The location is excellent if you're looking for something slightly away from the innermost center (but within walking distance), in a greener, more residential neighborhood. There are supermarkets and transports 5-10 minutes away. The hostel itself is spacious. The staff is helpful. It's within walking distance (a longer walk) of the central train station if you arrive or leave early (where the shuttle to/from Borispol airport also stops). I recommend this hostel.

It's a really great hostel, I only can recommand it! It's more like a flat than a hostel with a nice guy who helps you with any problems and has a lot of informations for the guests. Everything is clean, you have enough space, a big bathroom and a little kitchen. When you come home in the evening, its more like coming home to your family than to strangers!

Well, the location is perfect, so was the girl running it, she helped with all she could. Rooms are big, same is with the bathroom, it is clean and tidy. I will recommened the hostel by any means. Also the tip we got regarding Aiuraveda restaurant was great. Excellent food at excellent price. Hope to reach Kiev again soon.

The *only* staff member around, Marishka, was always helpful and ready to share her thoughts, lend a helping hand. To the owner / landlord: would it be possible for you to at least set up a two-person rota, so that the next time, when one of the staff members is set to leave, at least the hostel has still *one* staff member in? Especially, I expect to pay some money myself as a guest, NOT work myself inducting new guests once the *only* staff member in hostel has left. Thank you!

This hostel was great when we spent a few days in Kiev. Yes, it's about a 20 min walk to the nearest metro, but it is still located in the very center of the city and is a very easy walk to all the major sites. The price is excellent and the facilities are comfortable. Only thing is that they don't accept credit cards, so make sure you have enough cash to pay for your stay.

I would like to especially emphasize this hostel staff, they helped me in everything I needed and create a relaxed atmosphere. It is not located so close to the train station as you might think (about 25 minutes walk)

Maria is single-handedly why I keep coming back to this hostel when I visit Kyiv. She makes the hostel feel like home and I feel very comfortable being there.

The best place I've been to Kiev. The atmosphere is great! Aricio and his crew has a very good knowledge about the city history, many hints about sightseeing, shopping, bars and typical things you can do in Kiev. They used to be backpackers, so they know very well our needs It's not the kind of place they give you ready made answers. It's the place they listen to you and your history and find the best things to fit in your needs. This made me feel like at my friends house. Thank you guys
