Kiez Bude Hostel is very clean and has great facilities such as Wifi, nice showers and nice bathrooms. You can tell they really care about how the hostel looks, there is a lot of thought in the design. You may love it but I found the themed design a little overwhelming. Also it is in the area of the red light district. You may love this but I felt it a little off-putting. Staff have nice recommendations for activities in the area. No breakfast or kitchen which I found inconvenient.

The hostel was very originally decorated with a "red light disctrict" atmosphere. Everything was clean and the staff was always wanting to help us with good advices and telling us where to go (visiting) and where to go party..and actually what to avoid as well. The only PROBLEM is that the private shared room does NOT have a door in the bathroom, so its VERY unconfortable to hear your friends flushing the toilet while you are in the room. Besides that everything was good!

They smoke indoor and make the smell very bad. They charged 3 euro for the sheet and I didn't notice they mention about it on the website. And the sheet was not very nice. However the shower room is nice.

Loved staying here and especially loved the themed bedroom and the animal print wallpaper and gold tiles in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

If you want to hit the Hamburg Red Light District this is definitely the hostel to stay at. Staff was amazingly helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Location is, well, you wanted the Red Light you got it! All and all a good homebase to party to yourself senseless in the district.

A very funky hostel right in the centre of the Red Light District and all the nightlife that Hamberg has to offer (as well as some excellent shopping!). Only problem is there is only 1 female and 1 male toilet and 2 showers split between all guests. It was fine when we were there but I think it would be a bit crowded in Summer. No kitchen facilities.

I would highly recommend staying at this Hostel. Kiezbude Staff were some of the nicest, most helpful, and knowledable I have encountered. The quality of the location is more subjective to your interests as it is located near all of the late-night haunts on the Reeperbahn. But if youre not into that kind of thing, then the SBahn stop is a minute away and the waterfront about minute walk. Noise from the street is a problem for the rooms that face Reeperbahn, but luckily for me they sell earplugs

This is a great hostel in every way. One of the best I've stayed at. I loved that the rooms were relatively small at only 4 persons per room. The owner is a great guy and very welcoming. I was there in the off-season in January during the week (Sunday to Friday), but even then there were people to party and hang out with. During the busy season, this place must be a non-stop party.

If you're not sheltered or shy and can handle nude paintings and provocative pictures then you'll love this hostel! I wouldn't recommend this hostel for women travelling alone, just because of the location (red light district) at night. We had a rough idea what to expect from this hostel, however I was still taken aback by the sex-toy decorations in our room. I probably wouldn't stay there again. Very close to a metro station. Still, a very clean hostel, WiFi was good and staff were friendly

Really cool place to stay in hamburg, especially if you like to party. Right in the middle of everything, and friendly staff tell you where to go and were not to go. The interior of the hostel is also really cool, definately worth a visit.

Fantastic hostel right opposite the Reeperbahn station. Great staff and clean rooms with heaps of character. Only negative is that the street is quite noisy all night, certainly not a deal breaker though. Highly recommended.

I had a great 3-day stay with 3 friends in a 4 person room. The hotel is very cosy, clean and to our surprise not noisy at all. The location is absolutely perfect (if you are planning to party a lot in the Reeperbahn), Hotel staff is very friendly and atmosphere is cosy and private.

Really nice hostel. Friendly staff and really clean/well presented hostel. Good character and location. Really quiet in the middle of the week as expected so hard to meet fellow travellers.

This place is really charming and located at a perfect spot in St. Pauli, Hamburg's most vivid quarter. You can bet on a very good recommendations on food (I loved the "Hungermeile-Guide", a special guide designed by the hostel-owner with some places serving delicious food), culture and nightlife. Keizbude deserves 5 Stars in the Hostel-Star-Classification!
