Kikie was the sweetest hostess and was incredibly helpful with everything. She has great recommendations as she knows the area and thr trekking companies really well. The rooms were cozy, ample bathroom. 2 lockers felt extra secure. The beds were a little hard but you can't beat the value for the price! Great price and otherwise incredibly comfortable. Not a party hostel and it was off the beaten path a bit which I definitely prefer. Good place, good people.
Stayed here for nearly a week, Kikie and Marco were great hosts and helped us out with organising everything! They even gave us a lift to a local art gallery. Definitely book a jungle trek through them, we had a great time and were given a good rate! Our private room was very big and cosy and much more than we expected for the price. We recommend this place to all backpackers on a budget.
Was really helpful when booking excursions, and he knowledge of where to go and what to see was good. double room was basic, but cool roof top garden.
Was a really nice place to stay and relax. The housekeeping seemed to be a bit lazy as they didn't changed the bed sheets after check outs and the bathroom was not cleaned every day. The owner Kiki was really nice and helpful tho and felt sorry for the uncleanless as she apparently expected the housekeeping is doing their job properly. Also the other reception workers were really nice as well. Would probably stay here again.
The room was a bit shabby - holes in the mosquito net, dingy feeling, felt soggy, but pleasant enough and a nice location.
