This hostel was wonderful! It was very quiet (probably because not many people were staying there at the time) and that made it easy to relax. The building was beautiful and it's such a quick walk to everything. I think my favorite part was the kitchen.

Great friendly staff, spotless facilities, large common area, kitchen.

Excellent value for money and really accommodating staff. Check out was at 10am, but our train was not until 7pm that evening, however it was no problem for us to use the hostel kitchen until then, and store our bags.

I stayed here over the May Bank Hol wkend and had a great time. I really liked this hostel's airiness and atmosphere. Great spot.

This hostel is full of character, in a brilliant location at the heart of Kilkenny and the staff were really enthusiastic and friendly. The bed was so comfy and the room was really unique. I would highly recommend a stay.

A friend and me took a tour round Ireland, and Kilkenny Tourist Hostel was the accomodation we liked best among the six different places we stayed at: a beatifully decorated house with a very warm and comfortable atmosphere, large and well-equipped kitchen and very friendly staff. The house is located perfectly in the centre of the city. I will definitely recommend it.

This is a great hostel. Small and cozy - it is a home away from home. Excellent facilities, excellent staff.

They had a warm, welcoming fire going in the community room. They are renovation by putting in new carpets, this will be a great improvement!. The share bathroom with it's two, unisex showers was a problem for me. My husband and I used it together and then put a notice on the door....this was the only down side to this hostel.

Charming hostel in the City Centre. Across the street to various Pubs. Historic Brewery close door. Great, friendly staff and cosy lounge with fireplace.

Never have i been on so borring a hostel before! I tried, then i was there to go to another one but everything was booked. You went up to you room, nobody, you went town to the kitchen nobody. Nobody in the "living" room. The computer was old and doesnt really work. And there is a nightclub just on the otherside on the road of the hostel = noice the whole night. The room was cold. I was not happy with the hostel at all and i promise i will not go there again.

It was a bit tricky to spot the staff from the customers. They could maybe wear a staff sign or something on a shirt so that people can turn to a staff member for help.and not a customer. We had a new staff member down stairs every day and i wasnt really sure who was in charge :D having said that liked the hostel and the location a lot! (:

The bathroom was awful...This hostel has a kind staff but lack of many things to make the stay comfortable !

Anna and Kieran couldn't have been kinder they really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hostel
