Amazing Hostel, brilliant staff, perfect location and clean warm rooms. I would definitely stay again :-)

Top Hostel, really friendly staff, fantastic location, cool old building.

Very good hostel. Charming, near the main attractions and pretty safe. There are no lockers in the room but there are safe deposit boxes that we can use. We were there in January and it was really cold in our room, but other than that, it's a really nice place to stay.

This hostel was very cute and in an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A big group came in the night we stayed there and partied until 5am. I guess the night watchman had a really hard time controlling them. There must have been something more they could do to shut them up, like kick them out. In any case though, the staff collected deposits from the group and refunded mine and my friend's money. They felt terrible. I think I would stay there again.

A friend recommended Kilkenny Tourist Hostel and I can see why. It was excellent..very clean, warm and friendly..more like being at home than in a hostel.

This was a FANTASTIC hostel! Staff were lovely and friendly, willing to help out with anything! Very knowledgable about things in Kilkenny City and the rest of the County. Located right next to High Street where all the shops and pubs are. Board with info on gigs etc. for every night on display. Room spacious and bright. You can use all facilities/leave luggage on check-out day, just as long as your room's empty. Only downside, shower pressure not great, but water's hot which is the main thing!

We were blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were. We will definitely be using the hostel again without a doubt

Great building, kept very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Straight forward to locate and find your way around. Great for a weekend away.

Lady who checked us in was lovely, sheets were not as clean as had hoped had a few hairs from others still on sheets great kitchen facilities & good location.

The reception at the hostel was absolutely top notch! He was courteous and very informative. He helped us with every request. The building is a little older, the shower facilities are unisex, some of the carpeting is worn, but overall very good place to stay. I would recommend it! Also parking off of dean St is only 2 euro

My friend and I stayed here and, after a terrible hostel experience in Dublin, were INCREDIBLY relieved to arrive at Kilkenny Tourist Hostel, and to be greeted by one of their excellent staff. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was spotlessly clean, quiet and really well located. The kitchen was well equipped, and we spent a lot of time in the lovely dining area. Memories were made, and for the rest of our travels around Ireland, the Kilkenny Tourist Hostel was what set the bar!

Pretty standard hostel fair. A little on the grubby side¬ really enough toilets for the size of the dorm rooms. Really nice sitting room though, excellent location&really handy and cheap parking.

Lovely large historical building in the center of town, comfy beds, quiet, fantastically helpful and friendly staff, nice kitchen, nothing at all to not like here. Highly recommended.
