Location was great, but there wasn't enough hot water for a shower and the beds were really very uncomfortable. I stayed last weekend 11th

The hostel was completely unhygienic, the rooms would remind you of a prison cell. I would not let a dog sleep in this hostel never mind a person. They had a €20 deposit upfront which they never told us until we arrived. And when we were leaving the did not want to give back our deposit. An excuse of a hostel.

Very close to the train station. Nice clean room. Single room was cheap at 30 euro. Would recommend.

You get what you pay for. Sadly, no area to lock bags in rooms, but they do have a safe place you can put bags near the front desk. Location is excellent and you can't beat the value, just know it's not the newest, cleanest of places but when you're looking to save money this is your place.

The bathrooms were not very hygienic, the shower doors were in poor condition and the shower itself functioned badly. The staff was ok. The rooms are a bit different than what you see in the pictures, need rapid improvement. The kitchen was ok.

I was just at Railway 3 days ago. I had a 3 bed room and was the only one there. All this talk of "homeless shelter" is ridiculous. Its a fine hostel which does exactly what its supposed to do. Bring slippers for the bathroom. Bring earplugs because the floorboards echo. Expect to have breakfast someplace else. Water was warm, bed was fine, window overlooked church, front desk very nice. Center of everything but steps from bus station. I spent 1 night on way to airport.

It was a very nice hostel! The room was clear and the washrooms too. Our night was very loud because of other guests. For one night this hotel is very good!

Very easy to find hostel from bus station. Staff friendly and able to help with queries. Dorm room size was fantastic. Great location to village centre.

This hostel is in a great location, close to buses trains and Killarney national park. However, the hostel is being used as temporary accommodation for people without housing.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a night out in Killarney, this is the place to go, we stayed here as a group of six 22 year old girls, and although a little noisy, it didn't bother us. We could have done with a few more sockets or an extension lead though as we had straighteners and chargers etc to plug in for 6 people in the one room!

A good place, close to the town centre, the staff do their best to help and are always smiling. It is clean, the facilities are good and the bed quite comfy. I'll definitely recommend this hostel !!

I got a private ensuite room here for a few nights and couldn't have been happier! Close to the lively and young downtown area and right next to a beautiful Franciscan church and monastery. Beware - on sunday mornings those bells ring LOUD! Otherwise - I highly recommend this hostel! .

Very nice and friendly hostel. Like all hostels in Ireland, the travellers are great, but during the weekends, when they also get used by drunk Irish, the feeling of safety and good manners tends to noticeably drop. Also, the rooms could be a tad bit warmer, but you will find this critique in most hostels on the island. I enjoyed my time there and slept well.

This is not a hostel for travellers, it is one for the homeless and people who come to the city to get drunk. No security lockers, do not feel safe leaving my bag here. filthy toilets, people smoke in the rooms and in the washrooms. In the words of the night porter when my friend advised at 3:00am that another guest had peed on her bed, then taken it to sleep in: "What do you expect for what you pay?". I think that says it all.
