Great for a few nights. Showers could be a little cleaner (shower curtain, left hair) but not grimy. Overall very good value for the money.

I came back to Sugan's after eight years...and with a reason! It is still the little cozy familiar hostel I used to know, and it felt like home. Near to the town& to the bus station it has a perfect location. The kitchen is clean and full with dishes and everything you need, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast which was full of sweet unhealthy food - white bread, Nutella, peanut butter, cereals but no milk - at least brown bread would be nice

Good hostel. It is in a great location and the facilities have a lot of character. The best: location, quietness. The worst: a bit cold in bedroom, free breakfast a bit poor (just toasts, jam and butter, tea)

Our group will not return or refer pepole to the Killarney Sugan due the staff. Upon arrival we were told they gave our reservation away and we would still be charged full price. Then we were told there were beds but our group would be spilt up. Then he wanted us to pay in cash in addition to the credit card payment. After much negotiating we got our reservation; despite there were only 5 other people in the enitre hostel. The hostel itself was fine.

This really is a cute hostel, we got unlucky and the niht we stayed there there was a very roudy loud group making noise all night - but that happens from time to time in hostels, the hostel is excellently located in the middle of town, very secure doors, clean nice rooms and adorable common room with a warm fire, informative welcoming friendly staff member greeted us and there is a well equiped kitchen and bikes for rent outside, no drinking in the hostel but no hortage of pubs closeby

Great spot downtown easily accessible by transportation other than your own vehicle. "Free" breakfast was a bit meager and not very well organized. But, free is free. Seemed like a good hub for organizing activities though it was raining and we moved on.

The place was cold and miserable. The operators should learn what hospitable means in the hospitality business. When I had to extend my stay because of circumstances it was charged at the full rate instead of the on line, slightly reduced rate I received upon arrival, because it was not extended on line. Cleaning was done very superficially and dirt and debris around the edges was there my entire stay. To extract money with the least possible effort is the order of the day.

Hostel with a really nice character. It is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit the National Park of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. The only negative points are that there are no lockers and it was really, really cold in our room (but we were there in January).

This little hostel is right in the center of killarney, perfect for exploring this beautiful town. Around the corner you will find lots of pubs, restuarants and a fab little cafe called Murphys. There is parking across the road for anyone driving. The rooms are small but clean. We stayed in a room for 4 with ensuite, not much standing room but the beds & bathroom were basic but clean. Would stay there again. :)

Such a cute little place with a lovely fireplace. The only problem was that the heating was not always turned on in the rooms
