We love Kilronan Hostel. You can see it as soon as you get off the ferry. The rooms are small dorm style, but ensuite. The people that run the place are awesome. Breakfast is cereal and toast, but they have so many topping choices - jams, honey, nutella, black and white spread. There is a computer with Internet available to use and a comfy lounge with an eclectic choice of movies.

One of the loveliest hostels I've ever stayed at. Fantastic welcoming staff, gorgeous location and a nice outside hangout area for those rare sunny moments.

Kilronan hostel was absolutely wonderful. Just a few steps from the ferry, it was a welcome sight after a long cycle from Galway. I was delighted to find that Dave, the owner, was great chat and an all-around terrific host. Also, the free food shelf is completely stocked with spices and other ingredients! I jumped at the chance to make a proper meal. The view from my window of hundreds of waves rippling across the cove when a gale came through the island was surreal and unforgettable.

What a great hostel, it would have to be the best hostel that I've ever stayed at. Originally I'd only planned on staying the one night but enjoyed it so much that I ended up altering plans and staying for a second. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and informative on what to do while on the Island. The Kitchen and TV room (with free internet) were brilliant. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Very helpful, friendly, and inviting staff, with a well stocked kitchen. They were also very quick in helping with renting a bike or getting toilet paper, not to mention making a delicious dinner to share!! :)

This was my second time staying here and it's always really good, it's very quiet on the island and in the guesthouse and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It couldn't be in a better spot being right beside the ferries and bike rental shops. If you get good weather there is nowhere like Inis Mor and if you get bad weather there is always loads of dvds and books in the common room to make use of.

Great location on the pier. Didn't see much of the staff over the night we were there and no one at reception in the evening and morning. Very clean with well equiped kitchen. Didn't get the free breakfast in the morning as no milk but a few other places in town to get food. One word of advice, out of season evening meals can be hard to come but we eventually got food as a local pub; not gourmet but did the job. Great time had on the island overall :)

Kilronan hostel's 4 bed room is small yet cozy.Rooms were amazingly clean & smelt great with fresh bedsheets.Location is excellent, you can see it from the ferry & real quiet at night.Fully equipped kitchen, however no wifi signal in kitchen.I highly recommend Kilronan Hostel. However, hot water in shower cuts off by around 10pm.I would've liked to have stored my bags in a locked room instead of the common room & have reception open all day.Running out of milk at breakfast was abit disappointing.

The location of the Kilronan Hostel is ideal, the rooms are lovely, and the free breakfast is a great way to start the day before exploring the island....but the best part of our stay there was definitely the hospitality! The staff made us feel so at home, and it was wonderful getting to know them! They really went out of their way to make sure all their guests enjoyed their stay! We are so glad we had the opportunity to stay here and definitely recommend this wonderful hostel!

My friend and I booked two beds in an all-female 6 bed dorm. We were put in an all-female dorm of 4 beds. The first night was good w/ 2 female roommates. The second night, three people stayed (for two beds), one middle aged woman, a girl young enough to be her daughter, and her boyfriend. They were drunk and talked loudly about hitting my friend because she snored. Security should be better, and they should know who's spending the night, especially if they promise it's a single gender room.

The hostel\'s location could not be better: you step off the ferry almost in front of it, there are bicycle hires and pubs all around and the Spar shop is just around the corner. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and you can notice they put a lot of effort into maintaining the hostel clean and tidy. The kitchen is just superb: there is free food and spices available throughout the day and the breakfast is massive: you have cereal, muesli, brown bread, toast, a variety of teas. Go there!

Kilronan Hostel is the best. You can see it as soon as you get off of the ferry. It feels more like staying with a friend than staying in a hostel. Heidi will help you with anything you need, including renting a bicycle. Breakfast is your standard toast and tea, but they have every kind of topping imaginable - jams, butter, honey, nutella, black and white chocolate spread... Your home away from home on the Aran Islands.
