Nha Trang just isn't that charming. Neither is the hotels there.
Our stay was great and they helped book our onward travel. Only down side was when we got back to the hotel late one night the security guard wanted money from us to get to our rooms! We didn't pay and just showed him our room but it felt a little bit dodgy!
bring cash, it took an extra forty minutes to do a card transaction.
Good hotel. Room was clean and even had a small balcony looking over the street. Very satisfied.
Close to the beach. More of a guesthouse than a hotel.
Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, cafes and other desirable spots. It can be a bit loud at times, but that's due to the central location. The Kim Ngan is very clean, and the manager willingly checked around to find a bus connection to Hoi An for me during Tet, then didn't push me to buy from her when the ticket price was high. My bus was late picking me up and the staff interrupted their dinner to call the bus company for me - without my asking. I'd stay here again.
Girl at front desk could not understand English,we booked a tour with the hostel and the tour was not in English on Vietnamese.rooms are perfect for how much u spend. Dispite the cleaners taking things out of my gf bag we enjoyed our stay

A nice stay, the staff were always friendly and helpfull. Air conditioning is a must as Vietnamese traffic starts around five am with compulsury sounding the horn every 5 seconds so slept with the window closed. Only two minutes to the beach and five minute walk to the town centre. Hotel was clean, discovery channel to watch for english tv, vietnamese tv is strange and low budget. View from window is pretty much buildings but good price and nice breakfast, eggs, bread and coffee.

This hotel should definitively be cleaner. For example doors and mirrors in the elevator could be cleaned everyday. Minibar in the room but only bootles of water. No other choice. Bathroom very small, no bathtube, just a tap a hose and a shower. For 20$ per night you could easily find a better place to stay.
A little far. The bet part of it is tyhe staff.
Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were really helpful and don`t push selling trips to you like most places, the rooms were really clean and beds made daily. Only a 2min walk to the beach and a short taxi ride to the restaurants. All in all a great little hotel with budget prices.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They'll book anything for you, and the bus office for Nha Trang is right around the corner. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned, and have a TV and mini-fridge. The hotel itself is about 5 minutes from the beach and just down the road from a nice Pho 24 shop. It's about a 15-minute walk from the "backpacker" district, and doesn't have that "backpacker" feel to it, but we enjoyed the quietness and friendliness of Kim Ngan very much.
Our stay at the Kim Ngan Hotel in Nha Trang was nice and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony over looking the street. We received free breakfast as we booked ahead through hostelworld, but others who just walked in were not offered the same. The staff's english was not the best, but they were helpful and kind. The location is great, walking distance to everything and just a few minutes from the beach. Warning: I would avoid booking any tours/onward trains or buses from them, onl
Lovely place to stay with lovely staff. No complaints from me!!
Completely worth the price. We stayed five nights while it was raining and windy, so we were confined to our rooms. Luckily, we had a mini fridge, tv, perfect wifi and a nice ensuite bathroom, so we made it work. The location is great, 5 min walk to the beach. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. They clean your room everyday, which is really nice too. It's a great place to stay. The city itself is forgettable though, so try to come when the sun is out because it's been dull. Not much si
Hotel is fine very close to the beach. brekfast was not included .. menu choices are huge prices ok, but can get more cheap. the tv at the reception where you eat breakfast aswell was only switched on for the child with ingnoring music. when we arrived there was no light in toilet and the english knowledge is a bit poor
Safe available for valuables. No breakfast included but there's a handy little cafe across the road which is reasonably priced.
Not the most friendly place on earth. Out of the 3 receptionists we met, 2 seemed like they wanted to slit their wrists. The first thing they said to us was not "Hello and welcome". Instead it was "do you want to take this monkey tour?" Breakfast (which was not icluded) was fine apart from the coffee which even after requesting a filtered vietnamese black coffee came out as a 0.5L jug of instant "coffee" which was more like liquid car tire. Also, room was invaded by ants.
Great hotel, nice view from the 6th floor. Friendly staff, just the power cuts are annoying when you have to walk to the 6th floor with your backpack, but they can't help that, because the powercut was on in the entire city..
This is a good hotel for the price. They have computers downstairs which is good if you donthave a laptop. Service was ok not special. Pretty average experience and the location was alittle bit inconvenient because it was away from the backpacker district but only 10 mins walk tops. The beds were alittle uncomfortable. But overall a passable experience
