It could be just a bit cleaner, for example, the covers had some ugly stains. It would be also nice to get warm water in the shower. The water was quite cool; you could shower quickly and I wouldn't say it was warm (definately not hot). We showered on different times and there weren't that many people in the hostel, so those could not be reasons for not having hot water. It would have also been nice to get some briefing how things work in the hostel, for example, about towels, showers, and doors

Kim's guesthouse is in a great location. Really close to Hongdae and the subway station. The hostel itself is really nice looking and clean. No issues at all.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, very good beds, kitchen, washrooms. Extending stay was easily possible. Staff can be a bit laid back at times, but that varies a lot since they seem to change often and consist of mostly foreign students and travelers. Other guests can be noisy at times but that doesn't come totally unexpected since it is a hostel and is in somewhat party area of Seoul. What wasnt nice for my stay is that many of other guests are really messy and impolite not cleaning up the mess they do

This and thr hostel next door are the best hostels in Seoul! I always stay in Mr. Kim's hostels, many times per year. This place is a great hostel to get away from your home, or life. It's a quieter hostel located next to thr main hostel, with good service and excellent staff. If you are looking to have a good weekend out or planning an exciting trip in Seoul this and any odd Mr. Kim's hostels are the place to be. I've never had a bad stay.

The worst place I've stayed in Korea by a long way. Seemingly no lights-out policy, the 'staff' (out of work English teachers?) keep the drinking going on well into the night, with no respect for anyone who doesn't keep the same hours. On my last night, everyone in the dorm was woken at 4AM by arguments and fighting. It's cheap, but don't stay here if you want any sleep - try other Mr Kim's branches instead.

I've been to alot of hostels and Mr. Kim's is by far one of my favorite! Great atmosphere, easy-going, clean and close to everything you'll need in Seoul! Initially I booked 3 nights, but that turned into 3 weeks. I highly recommend Mr. Kim's Guesthouse, so stay here!

I've stayed at this hostel multiple times and I've always had an unforgettable time here. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants more than just a place to stay. I always meet very interesting people from around the globe and there's always alteast someone ready to team up, visit some places, enjoy nightlife or just a drink at the hostel. People keep coming back here all the time and for a good reason.

I had such a great time at Kim's. They were friendly, fun and even cooked dinner for us (for free!). I will definitely stay there again!
