All the locations of this hostel are excellent! The only complaint I had was that there was only one bathroom for a section of rooms with a max capacity of about 18 people. If all beds were taken it would have been a little inconvenient.

Very average compared to the next hostel I stayed at for similar price. The main door left open all night and no lock for the dorm or any lockers. Showers not very good, staff polite and quite clean though.

We booked a 3 bed dorm here for a one nights stay. The location itself is very good, but the cleanliness was disgraceful. Upon arrival (after being assured it had been cleaned - it clearly hadn't), the bed sheets had stains from top to bottom, the sheets were torn, the mattress was also stained. The apartment also smelled really bad. The staff there were helpful though. He facilitated our refund with little fuss and we went and found a cleaner hostel for around the same price.

As a couple of more mature travellers, we aren't much interested in the socialising aspect of the hostels we stay in. Mr Kim's was great in that the private room we requested was in a different building. The room was small but perfect for us with all the amenities you would need; microwave, washing machine, pc with wifi, etc. The room gave us a good idea what living in Seoul must be like for students.

Awesome location booked a room for 3 and got an 8 person room for ourselves. Can walk from here to the party area and the shower was pretty awesome too! I will definitely stay here again next time i am in Seoul. Not much of an atmosphere however i came with my own friends so didn't really bother me.

The staff were very friendly and as the caption read "come in as guests and leave as family" is really true. The dormitories facilitate new friendship and i enjoyed my stay. The following improvements may add more value 1) The dormitories are for mixed gender, which may not be appreciated by all, so its better to indicate while booking itself. 2) the bathroom in the 1st floor needs a lock :) 3) the phone no. in the hostel world website is not that of Kim's guest house and need to be update
