Kim's House in Busan Reviews

Nice place at a good location. Less than a 5 minute walk to a subway stop and 10 or 20 minutes by subway from the two major beaches in Busan! Mr Kim is also a fantastic host. He hooked us up with a map of Busan and highlighted all the areas of interest and how to get to them. He was also very social with all the guests and was more than happy to share drinks with some of the patrons. Thank you Mr Kim!

Great place. I just stayed one night but if I had more days in Busan I would like to stay there longer !!! I feel in home rather than guesthouse caused Kim welcomed me with warm heart.

First time I stay at Mr. Kim's hostel was back in 2011, when he still open in Seoul (Kim's Myeongdong). It was a great experience! We love Mr. Kim and Julie so much that we decided to visit them in Busan once we got a change to go back to South Korea. My other friends who tag along to Busan this time, also admit that Kim's House is great. Thanks Mr. Kim for the Lantern Festival in Samgwangsa Temple ^.^

Mr. Kim and his wife are super kind and took my friend and I out to dinner. I really appreciated their hospitality and kindness--they made our stay in Busan homey and memorable.

An absolutely beautiful, charming little place hidden off a street in Busan. The owner is really friendly, the rooms are really clean, and it's generally a wonderful place to stay. I would highly recommend.

The location was great. Close to many attractions and not far from the subway (5 min walk). Mr. Kim was very helpful and gave directions to many sights to see and when would be the best time to see them. I would definitely stay here again.

A homestay kind of hostel. Host was very kind and recommended places to visit in Busan. Located about 5mins walk from Dayeon stn.

Mr. Kim is a very professional man who knows how to run a hostel. Kim's House is very clean and comfortable, and Mr. Kim will go out of his way to help you. I will definitely come again.

Kim , the owner, is a fantastic guy. he is very helpful. I needed a korean speaker to buy my Korea- Japan Pass . he called with his mobile phone to the travel agency for more than 40 minutes to have that ticket. All this without asking me to pay him. High recommended person.

I go to Busan by myself but I don't feel lonely when I stay in the hostel. Its is becasue I can know friends there. The environment of hostel is quiet. I will choose it when I go back to Busan again.

I had an awesome time at Kims house. Kim himself is very friendly and helpful and the place is a really beautiful house and one of the best i have have stayed in.

Comfortable stay!

great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone who travels through Busan. Kim is very nice and will help you with anything.

I only stayed two nights here, but I wish I had more time to enjoy it! When I first arrived the owner sat down with me and told me all of his recommendations for sightseeing in Busan and marked them out on a map! The hostel was clean and felt homely. The only thing was that I was basically the only person staying there, but that's not their fault and it was nice in a way!

Many thing are really good like security, the rooms, the cleaning and everything! And doesnt have curfew wich is really good! But the bathrooms are really cold and the water is too hot or too cold to take shower. But It's the only thing that i thing that need to improve

This guest house is one of the greast I've ever been to. Everything was great. Hostel is located not far from subway,near many local restaurant and downtown. Especially good for woman because this hostel located near the main road. And very cozy, good internet and the staff were very helpful. They invite guests to dinner,and most of guests came out to lounge and talked to each other. And all of us sorrounded one table and had a very fun talk. I sure you'll feel warm like home.

My friend and I both spent one night here and we definitely come back to the hostel on future trips to Busan. The environment is wonderful and the location is great, too. We loved our stay!!!

This is an amazing hostel. I have many great memories from Kim's House because of Mr. Kim and his lovely wife Julie. Sleeping, studying, cooking and drinking at this hostel were comfortable and lots of fun.
