This is a very good hostel, nice staff, good pool and very clean. The last few days I was there they started renovating the bathrooms and there was a lot of painting going on. I really liked my stay here and I ended up staying longer.

Bathrooms were disgusting. They were painting the railings of the balcony when I was there and yet there bathrooms were left looking like they had never been cleaned. Rooms were ok but cause the walls don't go all the way to the roof it was really loud.

Only stay here if you want to be close to the town. Otherwise are sure you stay on a hostel at cable beach. Very clicky atmosphere between the workers that stay here

Pro:Staff was ok, Pool nice, Location Good, Free beach Shuttle 10:00 and 2:00, kitchen ok! Con: bathrooms disgusting and dirty, 6people dorm without Real Walls, so it was a 24people dorm, Lot of bogans and stinky workers... Please renovate your bathrooms and employ real cleaning staff, no backpackers! Its a risk for your health! And two sockets in room 10 for 6 people is a bad joke, isnt it????

The only thing I would comment on, is if you are physically handicapped like me and cannot climb the stairs then let whoever know when booking!

Excellent atmosphere, but the shower areas could do with some renovation. Free shuttle to the beach is a big plus! Having to pay a deposit for a cutlery bag and any pots is a bit of a hassle but probably a response to scumbag backpackers, not the hostel's fault.
