Eu fiquei muito satisfeito por minha escolha em passar uma noite no King Albergue! O local é seguro, limpo e muito bem localizado. Certamente voltarei em breve! I became very glad choosing to spend a night at King Albergue! It is secure, clean and very well located. I will sure be back soon!

We stayed for 2 days during the World Cup Final. We booked it last minute at a competitive price. The owner was nice but did not speak English and often complained, though we had no issues with him. The hostel is small and you have to provide your own toilet paper. No real kitchen to cook in. Free wi-fi and computer to use. The hostel is right next to the Catete metro station which is really nice and not too far from Flamengo Beach and Lapa. We recommend booking the 8 bed shared room, not the 16

You really need to learn how to manage an hostel in order to give a good customer satisfaction. And the hostel seriously need to be clean.

My stay was a nightmare. For starters, how could toilet paper not be included? I have absolutely never ever traveled to a hotel or hostel without having my basic needs met. Secondly, the owner is very disorganized and takes forever to accomplish something and he is always complaining that he's the one who does everything-he is very unprofessional. He only cares about making $ and does not realize the importance of customer service. If you need a place to stay, try Hotel Leao nearby.

The owner is so unfriendly and he doesn t speak Spanish and English. You have 3 toilets for 40 people and 3 showers just one is warm. Often there was a row. Moreover, a vert small kitchen with 4 chairs for 40 people as well. The owner was annoyed because i came back to the hostel at night. So, he had to wake up. Never ever go to this bad hostel; I highly recommend Pura Vida. It was way better.

Where do i start? Massive language issues! we were told our booking didnt exist even after showing them a reciept of deposit. tried google translate sorted that out, the rooms are tiny and crammed full, no windows, one fan and a aircon only available at 9pm-9am (only worked because we ripped out the dust ridden filter!) The beds on arrival werent made, old sheets and stained pillow cases. Took them over 4 hours to get around to it, Breakfast is ok not a good selection. Overall worst hostel ever!

I stayed in many hostels in my life and this stay at King Albergue was undoubtedly the worst. If you are looking for a place like the hotel of the Hitchcock Psycho movie, this is the place. Já fiquei em muitos hostels na minha vida e essa estadia no King Albergue foi sem dúvida a pior de todas. Se você procura um lugar como o hotel do filme Pscicose de Hitchcock, esse é o lugar.
