I really enjoyed my stay at Kings Cross Backpackers. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. A lot of the people who are staying at the hostel have been there for a while, and they were all very kind and welcoming. The laundry facilities are very cheap, and there are lockers in the rooms for extra security. I would definitely stay here again. My only critique is that the floor in the room could have been hoovered, as it was bit dirty.

I'm so glad I choose your hostel to stay in while I was in Sydney! I appreciated how you made me feel welcomed! I also appreciated how much effort it took to keep the kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms clean....lots of work everyday! When I come back to Sydney, I'll stay there again! toilet light on my floor did not work for four days and the airport shuttle didn`t pick me up (propably not the hostels fault)

Something it's o.k.only two things.The toilet room no light and one of my friend want open so electric come quickly because no shoe.Second free shuttle bus whe minimmum stay3night,I can't e-mail connect to Kings cross BP how we can have but when stay airport one officer help us for calling.After check out staff not help me for shuttle bus only told not sure when come but we have told about time before.After staff not stay we wait for bus about 1hr.but awe saw at paper every 30 mins.

some of the room are quite messy due to the long stayers there. but overall it is tolerable the room is cleaned once a week. the location is good, near to the train station, right in the most happening part of the city, good for party goers. the sink in first floor is still leaking. the staffs organizes movie night and night out to the pubs etc.

Realy nice hostel and staff, great community and athmosphere, but unfortunately dirty floor in the room and bathroom has seen better times.

The location is good if you want to go out in King Cross. Otherwise, it's a little out of the way. The room and the bathroom felt really small. The bathroom wasn't really clean, with the showers leaking most of the time. Security was good. The staff was hard to find when I needed to do my check-out in the morning. I stayed in another hostel in Sydney after this one and liked the other one better.

The kitchen and common are really clean and nice but the rooms need more cleaning! There lives mainly long-term people so it maybe a difficult to get to know people. Free breakfast and wifi are great. Location is not too bad.

The staff are amazing! They are super friendly & so helpful! and will help you with anything you need! There is a very cool & sociable atmosphere & always lots of activities going on! This place has everything... free wifi, TV room, kitchen & rooftop area! We really enjoyed our stay here & wouldn't recommend anywhere else! The price is more than worth it & you would be silly to go anywhere else as this is by far the cleanest & best hostel in Sydney!! We love it here & will defo come back!! :):)

Stayed at the hostel for 2 months! Very good hostel. Very friendly and helpfull staff, great location, clean rooms, clean toilets, great communal area and rooftop and a very relaxed, open atmosphere.

Good location, fast wifi, big dining area, lockers in room (but must ask for the key at reception). Most people in my room were long-stays so it was very messy with clothes and trash everywhere. There is no way they vacuumed that room daily as there was pretty much nothing to be vacuumed with floor covered in peoples's stuff. Sink keeps on dripping in the bathroom. Showers have see-through partitions (may matter to some). Doors remain propped and kitchen things unwashed despite signs everywhere.

very nice hostel close to bars and restaurants but in a distance where you are still able to get some sleep. nice commonroom with a huge tv and nice couches. clean beds and nice pillows but some of the people staying there are actually living there while working for looking for a job so the rooms can be a bit messy. just have that in mind.

Good hostel with friendly staff and in a good location for Sydney's night life. I had a good time and met some nice people - I'll be back.

Get a bathroom for the girls!!

I stayed at this hostel for several nights and noticed a couple things. They really needed to update the bathrooms, as the sinks were terribly small, and you could barely wash your face without spilling it all over the floor. The common area was nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and the dorm rooms were relatively well kept. Overall a good place to go if you\'re looking for a decent place to stay on a budget, but they certainly need to update some things before it is a nicer place.

I think the room was too hot too dirty and messy! Otherwise quite average!

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are cracking and really friendly!
