Well situated and the double room was quite nice, but the breakfast room was... fun to watch.

I stayed in Twin ensuite room with a friend of mine. It was on second floor, so smells form kitchen did not arrive to our room (some commentors have mentioned this smell). Staff is perfect, they help us whenever we need and the room is cleaned everyday. I do not think that we can find another hotel near this center area for this money.

Breakfast was between 7.30 and 9.00, which I thought was too early and I never made it to breakfast. The first night the window chattered a lot and I didn't know how to turn off the heater, but the second night we put a newspaper between the window and the frame and we could sleep quietly. Our stay was okay and the location is super, 1 minute walk to st. pancras and kings cross station and the subway!

I had read the comments about Kings Hotel, so my expectations were low anyway, however... I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Value for money, staying in a hostel would be a much more pleasant. The shower head was broken, and the shower was blocked and filled with water. My bed was very creaky and all of the middle legs had collapsed previous to me staying. Though very close to the Kings Cross station, there's an array of much nicer hotels on the street before getting to Kings Hotel.

The location was great and the room was fine for the cost. We had a view of the park which was nice during the day but at night there was too much light from the outside, and the curtains weren't thick enough. Also, the breakfast was very basic.

Me and my mother and sister spent only one night in this hotel. It was quite fun for us. I mean we were laughing all the time. There were some ants in the bathroom, the shower was very dirty, no mirror in there and only one towel for 3 of us in a triple bedroom. The beds were fine and clean(most important). The tv didn't work. Otherweise it was ok. Thank you.

The biggest problem was that when the owner/manager said something, his wife said something the opposite. Owner: No, we don't accept credit cards. His wife (the day after): Of course we accept credit cards. Wife: Yes, you can leavce your luggage here after check-out, but we'll charge you (5 pounds) Owner (the day after): You can leave them here for free. Means: if you don' have cash, contact wife. If you want to save 5 pounds, contact the owner :)

Nothing fancy but a basic, clean and very cheap place right in the centre of London, great for an overnight/short stay. I would definitely stay here again for a short stay.

As long as a place to sleep is all you need, it's fine.

This place wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. It's RIGHT NEXT to King's Cross Station. Nothing horrible, other than the toilet in the room wouldn't work sometimes and hot water is limited. But that's the least of my concerns, as I was out doing things all day, and was barely in the room. If you are going to stay in the room a good portion of the time, don't waste your time here. If you want cheap, mediocre accommodation with amazing location to do things in London, this is your place.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and you felt like they cared, the breakfast is very average with toast, marmalade, butter, cereal, milk, juice, tea and coffee. But it was there if you wanted it and there was enough of it unlike in some hostels where they run out of sugar and milk and don't get more.

The hotel is in a very good place, close to King Cross tube station, but that's all! The room was dirty and there was nothing where to put luggage and clothes. The breakfast was very poor. One of the worst stays in London.
