Great Location, only being a 2 minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras Station... this is the only good thing I can say about this 'hotel'. Security - Locking our bedroom door was like being part of the freemasons, having to work out a special technique just to lock it as the door wasn't the correct size for the frame. Staff were friendly to begin with, but once we had paid on the final day and no longer a customer, this instantly changed into rudeness. Cheap though

The hotel and the room were alright for the price. It's London and everything is ridiculously expensive so don't expect a real hotel. The location was great, 2 mins walk from the tube and very quiet at night. The staff was friendly, the room was absolutely fine.. The only thing that did not work properly was the shower. If you have long hair you won't be able to wash it properly in there. The breakfast was ok, not much, but enough to get you started for the day.

The location is very good but it was toooooooooooo dirty inside! The facilities were too old and not in well condition.

Don't stay here! We travel a lot, but this hostel was the worst we've ever stayed. A member of staff was really rude and unfriendly, the bathroom was an small cube not for normal people, but for dwarf maybe, and a breakfast contained only two toasts, butter, tea and cheap juice. They serve it in an obscure, dark room. The name of this hostel is a kind of stupid joke.

This hotel is the worst i've ever seen. i booked a double bed with bathroom, and i paid 50£ (!!) per night for it. The sheets were too small to cover the bed properly, i slept half on the uncovered mattress to let my girlfriend sleep on the sheet. The stairs & the room floor weren't horizontals! it was impossible to climb them with the suitcase! Couldn't close the window completely. Breakfast was with plastic cutlery, and i had to cook my toast in a dirty kithcen. finished space, not complains!

The only good points: location and fair security. After a long wait to get in and a "welcome" from a curt, barefoot receptionist, the room disappointed. It was small, shabby and not clean. Towels are provided but you have to ask for them and the bathroom has no mat or soap. The shower leaked on the floor and was in poor condition. The window rattled all night. Worse, we were literally being forced out at 10 a.m. - too early for a place like this. A basic room, not a hotel as the name suggests.

The whole place felt very uncomfortable. There is really nothing more than a bed there, and barely space to put some luggage. Maybe if it was called King\'s Hostel rather than King\'s Hotel it would be less misleading.

Great hostel/hotel if you just need a safe and affordable place to sleep. It suited me perfectly on my visit as I did not need a hotel lounge etc. to hang out in. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was really cosy. The sheets, the room and the bathroom were clean. The air was not the freshest possible but not too bad. I can tell from my allergy that there was no issues with the moisture or not too much dust. The beds made very loud noices when you moved in them so that was a minor minus.

This hotel was good... the price and location are good and overall it did the job...if you want somewhere to sleep after a late night, good location, no frills you will be happy with here...the problem on these sites is that people expect hilton service for hostel rates!!!.. i would stay here again however i have stayed in better ones on the same street for the same price.
