Great place to meet people, the location was perfect, the bathroom was quite grimy and the kitchen didn't have much in it but overall the atmosphere was great and I met so many people that come from so many different places. Really enjoyed my stay!

I was really pleased with my stay here, I came to Hong Kong with two other friends and we stayed the 3-person private room. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller, there is no separate shower area from the toilet area! But other than that the room was clean and the staff was friendly and they helped us out when we asked them too. The only real criticism I had of the place is that it is seriously hard to find because the hostel is spread out through different buildings and no signs!

The room was a bit dirty and run down but it was the cheapest place i could find on HK Island. The location was perfect and the room was a good size and comfortable. I was surprised how quiet the room was and even with the window open all night long, we still slept well. Tired décor but great location and comfortable. I would recommend and stay there again. Thanks Kingston Inn.

Really hard to find. Get a sign! Otherwise location is good. Language barrier also with staff.

If you manage to find the entrance, you're lucky, and then you'll find a staff that doesn't speak English at all. Don't go here unless you have nowhere else to go.

Other than the bed bugs, cleanliness is actually not too bad. The towels were refilled everyday, and I did not see any stain or anything on the towel. If I coming here again, I will get a bug spray on arrival, spray the bed and mattress, leave the windows open and head out for my sight seeing. The bathroom is actually way bigger than any of my friend's condo bathroom, even comparing to those upscale condo. It has a huge stand up shower area, which I love.

We had made reservations for 2 people at the Kingston Inn and they sent us across the road to a different hotel which had terrible rooms. After seeing the pictures from their website Kingston looked really nice, but when we got our room it was a black hole, NO WINDOWS! I felt like I was in a jell cell. So tiny and suffocating.

It would be really helpful to get a directions/ precise details, where the hostelrooms can be found as it is not clearly visible from the outside.

I would rate my stay at Kingston Inn as average overall as I benchmark it against hotel stays, which obviously cannot be compared but there's nothing else I can benchmark it against . The location is excellent as it's near all the amenities that a tourist would need. The rooms are okay, small (as expected) but it's comfortable enough to sleep in after a long day of touring the attractions.

Despite having a photo on GMaps on what the front door looks like, it was a damn mission and a half to find. So if location means where is it in HK then it deserves that rating. If it is for finding the place then no. Kingston is not the only hostel with this issue. How to fix ... not sure but made the stay in HK pleasant.

Was very hard to sleep since the room was full of mosquitos! Such a thing should not be a problem, should be easy to avoid.

The hostel is in a good location, but don't expect anything special, it's really just a place to crash while you tour the city. Not very thick walls. Staff can't speak english thus making them unfriendly.
