Just another of those big hostels, but the kitchen and eating area are huge, as is the common/entertainment room. Staff were nice and tried to help when asked.

Good value for money, good location. Kitchen could be better, for example sharp knifes would be very useful, more pots are also needed.

I didn't like being kicked out of the kitchen once breakfast finished. they could maybe clean everything up but not close the kitchen, and let people finish their breakfast and clean after themselves if they wish to stay longer.

Close to the city centre (10 minutes walk) but situated in a narrow street quite dark at night so be careful if you are on your own at night. The common areas tend to be nosy (doors especially).

We think the breakfast should have a bit wider offer of products. There should be heaters in bathrooms and kitchen. And the kitchen ought to be renewed.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. We did several Paddywagon tours, and it was nice because not only were we able to book them directly through the hostel reception, but we also got a nice discount. The staff was very friendly. Our 8-bed room was relatively small, but still sufficient. Everything was clean. Breakfast was a bit lacking (toast with butter or jam and tea or instant coffee) but at least it was something. Definitely a good stay for the price.

Pleasant stay. Only one point of improvement to be mentioned in our assessment: not enough heating in the bedroom and the toilets are very cold.

It was really good, but the mattress were saggy a little bit. That was the only problem.

Was a short 5 to 10 minute walk from town. The kitchen was huge and had most things you needed to cook your own meals. We stayed in a private room and the bed was comfortable and the room was always warm.

Hostel was simple. Clean rooms. Great big bathrooms for a dorm and great water pressure. Free breakfast was standard. Easy location. 5 minute walk to city centre.

The Hostel was in a good location. The Staff were hot and cold! Some were lovely but for the most part, they were "too busy" to help or so they acted. The room itself was a good size for a 9bed dorm, I didn't feel like we were on top of each other. I had an en suite but it was dirty all the time! The shower was not a shower it was more like a hose coming out of the wall. The water from the drain didn't drain quickly so you were standing in your own water and sometimes someone elses. Pretty Poor!

Wifi is not working and none of the staff knows how to get it working. Staff was to busy to help sort out a bed problem because people were not sleeping on their assigned bed. Everything else was good.

Owner Comment (Show)
Apologies - we are upgrading the Wi-Fi at the moment to cover all the rooms - we just had a few technical hitches. People never take the correct bed...unfortunately...

Would be great to have free tea+coffee all day. Very nice double room. Very well equipped big kitchen. The toilet flush on the first floor didn't work properly.
