I had a great time at this hostel. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and knowledgable. They had good kitchen facilities and a nice lounge. Wifi in the rooms was a bit spotty but was fine in the lounge. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice stay. shower was very weak and the drain wasn't working very well. overall it was good for a one night stay

Our room had a bad smell - a mix between dampness and wet paint. Also the showers were a horrible experience. They were mostly cold and you had to keep pressing the button to keep the water going making it difficult to shower properly.

The cleanliness was disgusting. The staff were extremely unpleasant and not helpful at all. The location wasn't ideal compared to other hostels.

Nice staff and room. The room was clean but the bathroom not very clean. The wifi did not work sometimes. The place os very quiet and next to the city centre.

Great hostel, there are laundry facilities if you need. Stayed in a 8 person female dorm, there was only one bathroom in our room, but we made it work. Breakfast is extremely light if you plan on just eating what they have (just bread, tea, and coffee) but you are allowed to buy your own stuff and keep it in the fridge. Location was good. There is a bus stop right outside of it and it is about a 5-minute walk from downtown Cork.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here but i felt they could do more in the line of security from rooms 30 etc down the steps.. front door left open for a few occassions that i have stayed here.

The room dorm I stayed in had 16 beds crammed into the smallest space.. Not very comfortable. The room also reeked just from so many pairs of shoes in the room. Maybe a shoe cupboard at the door or outside of the room would be a good touch. Bunk beds could also use an upgrade

Great value for money, right next to Shandon Bells. Free parking (get there early), rooms not overly private but our roommates were excellent. Fairly clean with en suite washroom. Some of the other floors with shared bathrooms were pretty dirty. Front desk staff were AWESOME with advice on what to do/see. Thanks!

Very easy for our quick stay in Cork. The city was very accessible from the hostels location. Above average facilities for a hostel - felt very clean, safe, and comfortable.

Great hostel, the only "negative" apsect, or just not as grand as the rest was the mixed bathroom, the're ok, but small and not so clean. Very nice staff, nice kitchen and very well located.

My stay at Kinlay House in Cork was rather short, but I would definitely go there again. The hostel staff was very friendly and even helped me with fixing my bag. Thanks again!
