Where to begin! No heating until 20h00 in winter is totally UNACCEPTABLE in a develop country after telling the employee attitude is one of nonchalance and total unawareness. If you cant smile and pleasant then work in a different industry. The rooms are completely out of shape, a shack in Thailand has more to offer (and I mean it). Breakfast is bare bone. Please do yourself a favor and check out other places, with the amount of money they make there is no excuse not to invest in their property.

I stayed here for a few nights and was satisfied with it. Some things didnt seem very clean, like the beds but I did see the cleaning ladies changing the blankets....so I think they are just old. I don't mixed dorms but didnt like the mixed facilities. The location is great but can be a little more nosey, not bad though, it is worth it for convienence.

I could not stand the fact that the rooms weren't heated until 8 or 9 pm and the bathrooms were freezing! Otherwise, the staff was kind and helpful, the hostel was easy to find, the breakfast was good (would be better if there was juice), and the common room was full of information and the free internet was great.

There are no luggage cages in the room, this would be useful. More seats in the breakfast area would also be good.

Stayed at Kinlay in Galway and couldn't be happier - Dublin, on the contrary, was a little disappointing. Staff was decent and the location was awesome, but the cleanliness/atmosphere aspect could use some work. The place could use a renovation overall. The ensuite toilet didn't work - waste of money.

This was our first experience in a hostel and it was far better than what I was expecting. My friend and I shared a private room and the sheets and towels were clean and the staff was very friendly when we arrived. A lot is included in the price we paid: free international calls, free wireless, free computers to use, free breakfast, free hair dryer, and a free walking tour. The only drawback was the lights in the bathroom were motion sensor so the lights did go off when we were showering.

The only problem that I had with this hostel is the internet connection problems, but, other than that, it's one of my favorites. I will always stay at this hostel when I travel to Dublin!

It is time for them to change the beds, They are noisy , bit uncorftible . To much nois from the street , Also more notification about where things are , Signs for bathrooms etc..... The breakfast good enough , for the price you pay , it si nothing you can asked more. Good information about going visinting Dublin . and day trips. Very convinient Airport bus stop , right out the main door.

This hostel was one of the best experiences, not only the location, friendly and helpful staff but the atmosphere of the hostel itself. Cooking in groups, meeting new people. Must say that it was a delight staying at Kinlay House. Would recommend it to everyone.

Hands down, out of the several hostels we stayed at over our trip, this one was my fave. I don't know if I'll ever take another trip to Dublin, but if I do, I would definitely return to Kinley house. We met some of the best folks there too.

I found the place awful damp and stuffy. Its like the place needs a load of dehumidifiers going to take the dampness out of it. The breakfast wasnt great and the milk was not the freshest. I was glad i was only staying the one night
