Kinnaree House Reviews

Kinnarree House is an okay place to stay, but I'm sure that you could find somewhere cheaper for what you get. My room was relatively clean, but the air conditioning didn't work very well. The guesthouse is in a great location next to all of the bars and is pretty close to the pier. I was very happy that I couldn't hear all of the loud music going on when I was trying to go to sleep. The staff were always hanging around, so they were always available to help...but not so friendly.

there are 2 buildings, dont know if the pictures are from the other one but definatly not ours. was a bed to sleep in and staff were nice though.. just hope it doesnt rain lol

As is common in Thailand, toilet paper cannot be thrown down the toilet bowl, and instead should be placed in a nearby bin. This approach is bearable if staff routinely clean out the bin. At Kinaree, the staff refused/were unable to do this even when we requested. If taking showers while wading in your own effluent appeals, stay here.

Coolbox goes not on day, wifi was not so got.

We were very disappointed. Kinnaree House have two hostels, Kinnaree House 1 and 2. Kinnaree House 1 is on the pictures on the Website and has a better standard than Kinnaree House 2, where we had to be. It was very bad standard, just at the busiest street on the island with a lot of noice from people and party music just outside during nighttime. Bad standard, bad beds, very small room, the shower had almost no water and cold water only.

This hotel was a big disappointment on the first night i was bit by bed bugs all over in my sleep. we moved room which was better but there was lots of work going on fixing work within other rooms so it was noisy and messy

I stayed in one of the two Kinnaree in Phi Phi, I believe the smaller one. My room was very humid, not very clean and quite unsafe, just a door steps away from reception where in the evening none was there. The location is quite good but there are many more hotels around in the same area at better price and quality than this, It's quite over priced for what you get. I don't recommend it.
