The bed linen was visibly soiled. I'm still checking for lice. The light left on in the dormitory for the first part of the night was too bright. I witnessed people checking themselves out at 8 am because the reception wouldn't open until 8.30 am. I had to skip breakfast myself because the kitchen and breakfast area were also closed until 8.30 am when I was already miles away strolling about in the blazing sun.

Amazing hostel. Great people working there. Every night they cook you a meal so that everyone in the hostel can meet each other before going out. Will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Brighton! As a single traveller, it was so easy to meet other people here.

Great location, really friendly staff and clean rooms. Only very minor thing is that you're not allowed in your room between 11-2 for cleaning which can be a bit problematic! Otherwise excellent stay!

Great facility with even better staff. Walking distance to Brighton Pier, pubs, shops and mostly everything there is to see and do in Brighton. Stayed in a double bed private room with shared bathroom, very spacious, clean and no bed bugs. Shared bathroom was well maintained. WiFi connection was decent, free breakfast in the morning was good.

I've stayed at a number of Hostels over the years and Kipps Brighton is one of the best. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, clean rooms and great location. I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Brighton

This place was great. The staff were super helpful and nice. I had a private room but it was very affordable. When they cleaned the room, they made an extra effort for it to be nice and there were things for guests like a toothbrush and toothpaste etc. I honestly can't think of anything that could do with improving (and I'm a harsh critic) so stay there!

One of the best hostel experience! All facilities are so clean and atmosphere so comfortable. The environment is so quiet that you will surely have good sleep. Also, staff are very friendly and helpful. Great time to stay!:))

The bathroom I used was just too small but I had a good moment there. When I will return in Brighton, i will book at Kipps again.

My friend and I stayed in this hostel last weekend, and though we didn't get a chance to experience any of the facilities (we were out and about literally almost the whole time!!) we loved what we saw of the hostel! We were upgraded from the dorm we'd booked to our own room, for no extra charge! Also the place was clean. our bathroom was nice and the shower was hot, if a little weak! No complaints, location is perfect to be honest, and our room was nicer than ours friends who stayed at a hotel!!

I was very pleased to notice the quiet of the accommodation room and the respect of it. The staff was super polite and so did the quests too.

Having stayed in Kipps Hostel Canterbury last August my expectations were sky high.Suffice to say I wasn't disappointed. The location is A1,the breakfast was hearty and wholesome, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the plethora of dvds, shelves of books and free internet access meant there were ample means of whiling away the hours if you didn't fancy braving the elements on what was a bitterly cold weekend. In short if you're fortunate enough to visit Brighton look no further!

Fantastic location, directly opposite the Pavillion and Dome. We had a double bed room and it was spacious, well furnished and fantastic value for £20.

Really friendly staff....all sorts of nice treats for guests every evening....including home made cakes. Free baggage room. Less that five minutes walk to to pier. Right in the centre of all the action. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
