This was by far one of the best hostels I have stayed in - and I have stayed in many. My only disappointment was that my stay was so short!

Beautiful place, nice room. Peaceful. One morning lovely breakfast, but next morning poor breakfast. Shower looked nice, but did not work well.

The hostel stay while short was very memorable. The staff was excellent the rooms were clean, fantastic ambiance. There is a beautiful garden and a kitchen that has free vegetables to cook with, free coffee and tea. We were there on a Friday night which is pub crawl night. We went to some cute neighborhood pubs, they treated to pool and our first half pint, fantastic. Beds were comfy and there was an affordable breakfast. I would definately stay here again the cutest hostel there is.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many in the UK and Australia.Everything is spotless, tidy and welcoming. It felt like being in a home. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and you are treated like they really care that you have an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hostel. Cheers, Ruth

I recomend Kipps. Easy walk to Canterbury City Centre. The best private hostel for value. free tea, coffee and also rare, some free vegetables, for use. the common room had sky t.v and use of internet was comfortable with very friendly staff. And what about a breakfast for £1.95! I mean where can you get that and was very good at that continental style. Will return or try Brighton

Warmest atmosphere I've ever experienced at a hostel! Staff very friendly and helpful and do all they can to make you feel at home. Free towel rental. Nice outdoor garden. Only (minor) drawbacks are you must pay for breakfast and the floors in our room were extremely squeaky. But overall highly recommended.

I had a bed in a beautiful attic room. This room was en-suite, with a table, lockers, CD player and sofa. For a hostel it felt luxurious!

Wow - this hostel is great everyone ! Its easy to find from the train station and quite close to the centre. Nice comfortable hostel with a BIG common room. The staff are all great and easy going but check out GEORGE. He is the hostel 'warm up' man. He takes everyone out EVERY night and shows you the best bars in the centre. Everywhere bar we went to, George seemed to know all the hot, local girls. They were flocking to see him. His LADY GAGA impressions are the bests ! Go to this Hostel - 1000%

Great Hostel! Fantastic staff, and kept very VERY clean! I liked it so much I based myself out of there not only to check out Canterbury, but also to explore the rest of Kent! They had fun activities planned every night, and were very helpful with local information. I hope I go back some time soon. Check it out!

I had a great time staying at Kipps. The staff was so friendly and I loved how the breakfast area looked. It was really neat! Too bad we only got to have breakfast there once because of the huge group of Dutch guys ;) But we enjoyed eating in the lounge just as much. Oh, and the hot cross buns were delicious! Also had great fun going out for drinks in the evening and meeting all sorts of interesting people.
