The only point that falls short is that the power sockets are quite insufficient. They do provide many of them in the room but most of them are on the furthest corner away from most beds.

I have had many hostel experiences over the years but this has been by far the best. The staff are very important & Shane, Carmen & Brian were superb, affable, upbeat & accommodating. The room was warm, and clean. The offer of free tea & coffee during the day & the offer of cake every evening was a very welcoming touch. I hope to return in the future.

Brilliant as always, thanks guys :)

Great hostel - spectacular back yard and eating area. Used it to see Canterbury and Dover. Very clean and very laid back. Felt the hostel really fit the atmosphere of seeing Canterbury and Dover. Great staff!

The hostel was amazing! It brings the concept of good hostel to a whole other level.

Great place to stay 5 min by foot from the city centre, friendly staff and very warm atmosphere...suggested!

Room 12: crowded (about 12x15 ft for 8 people), noisy - not enough bathroom facilities - four small lockers for eight people, creaky old mattresses and not enough space under beds for luggage. One could hardly walk through the room because of the piles of stuff! But - good breakfast and friendly staff.

I had a great time at Kipps. The staff was super friendly and had excellent suggestions on what to do and where to go. The bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms are cleaned daily, while the staff is cleaning you are welcome to stay and hang out in the livingroom so you're not forced to leave the hostel for the time being. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I would defenitely recommend anyone to go here.

Brilliant as always, cheers guys :)

Really appreciate your help when I had to make an early morning start but didn't want to wake people up when I left. You helped me to sort it!
