Kirkhill Mansion was built in the early 17th century as the dower house for the most powerful Scottish family: The Dundas of Arniston. It is thus located in arguably the most beautiful spot in Midlothian. Originally protected on three sides by the South Esk and on the fourth by a reservoir, it is truly a stunning location restored to serve the local community and visitors alike.

Each room is decorated in its own unique style. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Bathrooms are private and fitted with a powerful shower and bath. A continental breakfast will be provided each morning of your stay. There is no on-site restaurant, however guests are free to use the large kitchen facilities available at the property. Guests are free to roam the gardens and enjoy a relaxing dip in the outdoor hot tub.
