It is not a hostel of course. You simply rent a room in Kirsty\'s apartment. It\'s like staying in a friend\'s home. Kirsy has been living in Essaouira for years, and she knows everyone and every place. She gives such lots of information your head is spinning: where to go, what to see, where to eat, where to buy... whatever you\'re interested in, from food to traditional music, she will recommend some Hamid or Jalil who will provide the best for you. That\'s priceless.

Thanx Anna darling for the lovely review xxx I was concerned & asked Anna why only 3/5 for security... " I simply meant that your place is a private place, no hired guards, safe boxes for storing documents or jewellery, or other safety measures present in hotels... Your place is excellent .... I felt totally safe with you, and I will definitely recommend your place to all my friends..."

At stayed for Kirsty's Place for nights and I loved the place, the medina and everything in this city. I wish I stayed longer but I'll be back in March or April for a longer stay. Kirsty spend an hour telling us all the nice places to go, she pick up at the bus station. I felt very much at home at her place and Kirsty is such a wonderful person. THanks Kirsty for everything we'll be back, Uzi and Abdou

the room is very small and there is nothing to do in Kirsty's house, however she'll provide you an extensive guidance and tips of the town

Giovani actually had a choice of rooms and he chose the smaller one. The double room is an average size double for Morocco. Not sure why Gionvanni commented there's nothing to do, most people don't want to stay in & prefer to explore. Although he did ask if I had BBC on the TV (which I don't) Giovanni's scores are of course subjective, and you'll see if you read others, completely out of balance with other reviews.
