I only stayed for one night, but seemed like a nice place. It's definitely very clean and the staff is very friendly and will help you with anything. The breakfast included is basically just cereals and coffee or tea. The 12 bed dorm is rather loud because you can hear everything from other parts of the hostel through the door. I don't know about the other rooms.

My friend & I stayed here over the 2013 Easter break. It was excellent. Staff were friendly, 1 free beer everyday & the breakfast was different types of cereal which was more than sufficient. We had a twin private which was spacious & the beds were really comfortable. Shared bathroom very clean.

A brilliant hostel - one of the best I've stayed at! Super-friendly and helpful staff (including the wonderful Zara the dog!), very well-equipped with plenty of social things to do, a good atmosphere (met a few nice people there) and a clean room. The free drinks every night are a great touch, as was the bottle of wine and chocolates for booking off season! It's only ten minutes walk from the main city square, but there are bars and food closeby as well. Overall - I highly recommend Kismet Dao!

We stayed 4 nights in an 8 bed dorm. It was a great hostel with welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. The facilities were good including the kitchen and hot water. The breakfast is just cereal, but there is a toaster there if you buy a loaf of bread. We would definitely recommend Kismet Dao!

Kismet Dao Hostel is a very nice concept. You can see that the owners have some experience in the area and you can find there all a backpacker needs. It is not in the down town but in 10 minutes you are there. I met a lot of nice travellers and would go there again. Gabriela is very helpful but sometimes a bit distant.

Kismet Dao Hostel was great. The staff is very accommodating and friendly with many recommendations on how to enjoy your time in Brasov. They offer a 3 Castles Tour which is pricey, but yet made it so easy to see the Peles Castle, Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle. The offer you a free beverage a night per stay, which can be used on pop to beer. This was one of the cleanest hostels I've ever been to. Breakfast was nothing to rave about, yet appreciated. Great basement lounge to make friends.

The staff was great. I was looking for a yarn shop, and the woman found me one within walking distance. The website said they could meet you at the train station and since I was arriving late at night, I thought that sounded great. Unfortunately, late at night, they don't offer that service. Other than that, I thought it was a great place to stay. It was quiet and clean and the beds were decent. My room even had a tv!

Is a nice hostel, in the center of Brasov and nearly to everything. If you want a trip to bran castle and others sights they could make a trip for you. I really liked that place!

Absolutely wonderful hostel - and the staff make it perfect! Staff are helpful, friendly, eager, just so accommodating. Warm rooms, super clean (amazingly clean for hostel!), and hot water any hour of the day. Very handy location for old town. Drawers, table, lamps, hanging space in room great. They coordinate tour of Castles which is extremely useful. Hard to think of improvement - maybe the only thing I could suggest is fix shower head so it stays up by itself. Thoroughly recommend Kismet!

Great hostel! Really warm and helpful staff! One free beer every night! It was comforting to see that when one of the guests had to go to (the ill-equipped) hospital the staff were good enough to sit with her the entire night to make sure she was ok and explain what was going on to her. Great atmosphere, safe (lockers for each person) and close to the centre! Would recommend it to anybody!
