Very friendly and helpful staff, really easy people and going not only for the extra mile but for another mile and another one...well you got the idea. Big minus, the rooms were really not clean.
Clothes everywhere on the floor, the living room stank a bit, the bathroom was really dirty.
Big plus, free shuttle to anywhere and free fresh baked bread in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff, really easy people and going not only for the extra mile but for another mile and another one...well you got the idea. Big minus, the rooms were really not clean.

A really welcoming backpackers. Great location, a five minute walk into the city. The staff were so welcoming and Marcus and Chris obviously know what they are doing. The place is scrupulously clean and the kitchens well equipped. the home-baked bread in the morning was very welcome. Airport pickups are free. All in all a great place to start your trip.

Excellent hostel, great spot to start a new zealand trip. The fresh bread in the morning is a great start to the day. The trips in the shuttle to Pak N Save are useful and memorable. It felt like a home away from home at times.Excellent hostel, great spot to start a new zealand trip. The fresh bread in the morning is a great start to the day. I just loved this place! Very tidy considering how busy it is, sunny, it really felt like home. They even bake bread every morning, I m very happy that I found this Hostel! The airport pickup was also a bonus! Good value for the price.

The staff was really nice. The 6 bed shared dorm is right next to the hallway at reception so you get all of the light from the hallway. The kitchen was not clean at all. Dirty dishes everywhere.

This hostel ranks at the very bottom of the hostels that I have stayed in. Very noisy, loud street noise, dirty kitchen & bathrooms, and no place to park. The common room was filthy and people were actually sleeping in there. I would not recommend this place to any one except transient kids that don't expect much. This hostel ranks at the very bottom of the hostels that I have stayed in.
