I had a very good sleep at Kiwi House. Very homely, clean and quiet there. Full of repeaters, I was recommended Kiwi House from lot of my friends.
When I come back to Christchurch, I will definitely stay at Kiwi House again to re-charge my traveling energy.

Very nice clean place. I think it would be great in Summer with the outdoor tables and chairs. Seem to be quite a few people who live there and just do their own thing so maybe not the best for meeting new random people. Very clean and comfortable place though. Really lovely people, walls are paper thin though - could hear every time my neighbour sighed. The kiwi house is quite a nice place. Staff are really easy-going and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, even share bathrooms and toilets are very hygenic. The location is a bit far away from the cathedal square but you can still walk to there by max 15 mins. but dont try to carry the luggage and walk.
