This was a good hotel for the price. A single room on the main street of Auckland for 55 dollars is pretty good going. The room has a sink and a desk, a bed and three plastic coat hangers on a pole. It's not the hilton but it's cheap and it does the job. Some of the larger rooms have TVs etc in them but if you're on a budget you can't beat this place. Toilets and showers are shared and they seemed ok. Clean and usable. If, like me, you are only using the room to sleep in then this is a bargain.

There is a bug problem in some of the rooms. In our economy room the bed and the carpet was full of bugs. It was disquisting! For that they gave us a ensuite room without bugs so for us the problem was solved.

Loved my stay at Kiwi International Hotel. The front desk answered ALL of my questions (I had quite a bit). The location was great, and the rooms were clean. I do feel the bathrooms could have been kept a little cleaner, but it was not anything to overly disgust me.

Super-comfy beds. Only problem was the wind kept knocking my door back & forth so it felt like somebody was outside my room the whole night trying to get in. creepy... the towels were super clean, the standard twin room is quite spacious for the $69 bucks i parted with. Not a bad place, would do itself better if it had a kitchen, their "Continental" is quite a weak attempt at breakfast. And yeah, same as the last guy, they need to put something at the showers to place my soap n stuff.

We stayed one night here when we visited Auckland for the day to get some jobs done. Location was excellent, close to everything but nice and quiet. Room and bathroom were spotless. Would stay again.

The staff member was quick at helping me check in but was not very welcoming. I also had to wait quite a while to ask some questions about the location and places to go but I finally just left and winged it as I had a map.

Decent place in a very good location at the end of Auckland's main drag. Kiwi Int'l is a cheapish business type hotel. It's pretty quiet and the rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The bar always seems to be closed but the washing machine works.

Room was tidy and the bed comfy. The room was a little small but I didnt mind. Great location yet nice and quiet! I consider this place great value if you can't afford a nice hotel but still have standards.
