The hostel was easy to locate, but it was impossible to find the reception without help. It turns out there is no reception. The room was immaculate but was very clinical and lacked character. The toilet and down stair shower lacked both loo roll and locks. The set up of the hostel is peculiar in that you share the upstairs facilities with more permanent residents. The upstairs shower is hot and powerful, and the best thing about the hostel.
The reception was not present on my arrival and i have seek high and low for it !There wasn't proper signage or instructions where to head to for information or to check-in. The building was like a prison cell concept.Despite losing the disposit I didn't even bother to stay longer so I move to another hostel. Don't know why hostelworld has them in the list!
Good points: -Excellent wifi in our room. -The staff we encountered (a man) was very friendly and laid back. He suggested things to do. Bad Points: -It was probably 25-30 minutes too far from the central areas of Bratislava, with no signs of public transport we had to walk that whole distance. -My bedding was unclean (others were fine though).-There seemed to be a building site in the hostel itself which began at 9-10ish and woke us up. -No locks on the showerroom or bathroom. No toilet paper.
