Klaipeda Hostel Reviews

The atmosphere in the hostel is a bit chilly. Not really inviting to spend an evening inside even when you're tired. Alcohol is not allowed inside. So no cosy evenings of wine or beer drinking. The staff was friendly and helpful. A very special treat is the shuttle service. Cheap and extremely comfortable when you want to cover the distance between Klaipeda and cities as Riga or Vilnius in a small car instead of crowded busses and trains AND would like to see something of the countryside...

Only thing that was really irritating was that I was given bed linen which was quite warm and thick, and I visited in the middle of summer! So it was uncomfortable to sleep

Pretty much the only hostel in Klaipeda! Conveniently situated near to the bus, although about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town (i.e. restaurants, bars, theatre, etc). A good option for the price.

It wasnt too hygienic since we werent allowed to use shoes or even shower shoes. Dirty.

found people more resrerved here so less interactionb and fun but a perfect place to restwhile cycling the spit

Handy location beside the Klaipeda bus station and a 5min bike to the old town and ferry. You can hire bikes in good condition from the hostel. There are two showers in one room however most people were travelling alone so only one person showered at once causing a que. And, there was no ventilation in the dorm.
