This hostel was fantastic with among the best staff i have ever met, they helped with everything, just ask. Its clean, spacious and very well maintained to hotel standards. Tiled floors throughout with good communal areas and an excellent kitchen. It has all the comforts of home or a hotel but at hostel prices. Its 15 reals from the bus/train station. The only negative being no air conditioning, but the other things make up for it. I cannot stress how good the staff are here, really top notch.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Fantastic staff and brilliantly clean with spacious dorms and multiple facilities. Best hostel I've stayed in in all of South America. If in Curitiaba, I would not even recommend looking around - stay here! I stayed in the Roma hostel the first night, as it was near the station. Waste of money and not recommended at all.

Good spot in the town. Only caution is that they try and push services on you for bus, others and be advised other options exist other then the ones the state.

Great place to stay. Cool rooftop area. Great breakfast, HUGE kitchen with more utensils than my home. Cool movie room. Nice and clean. Only feedback would be that the whole place echoes as there are so many hard surfaces so you can hear the slightest sound throughout the hostel. Some rugs or similar would go a long way to stopping this and making it an unfaultable hostel

Stayed for over a week, while looking for a flat in Curitiba. Staff was amazing, the hostel is spacious, and I had an all around good experience! Excellent breakfast in the morning too!

Everything about Knock Knock was great. The Staff were very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere was good with lots of big common rooms to meet people and chill out. The location is close to the bus routes which make Curitiba an easy city to get around. It was a very safe and secure hostel, and always clean. You can also book your train tickets to Morettes for the journey to Honey Island through them. I highly recommend staying here when in Curitiba

Thanks for your kind review girls! Today we are changing that shower to electric, so it will be easier to manipulate. Glad you had a nice time!

When breakfast is offered/included in the price, this normally includes not doing the dishes yourself. When you ask people to put the sheets on their beds themself, it would be easier to provide sheets (for the matress) that are more simple to put. Free WiFi was provided, but using the PC was charged. (never happend to me in a hostel that provided a pc for use, and wasn't indicated at the website) For the rest, all other things were good!

Making your bed and washing your dishes are an important part of what a hostel is. There are several blogs explaining that, and we even put it on the FAQs of our own site. Thanks for your review.

Great hostel, very clean, fantastic kitchen, great for making your own meals. Breakfast was also very good. Bit of a walk from the centre but there is a bus about a 10 minute walk away that you can catch that also goes to the bus/train station. The hostel has wireless but it only works in the front lobby meaning everyone has to crowd in there to use their devices, given the comfortable spaces throughout the hostel to sit, they really need to fix this problem.

I really enjoyed my stay at Knock Knock Hostel! The hostel is very well located (close to downtown). It made getting around Curitiba very easy. The hostel is well kept, always clean and very nicely decorated. The bedrooms are comfortable and the common areas provide many things to do. There is a TV, ping-pong table, big kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils, hammocks, books to read, etc. The staff is excellent and always around to help! They have great information and advice!

This was my dad's first time staying at a hostel & he loved it! The breakfast even included frios (ham/cheese) in addition to bread & fruit. It was a pretty quiet hostel which was nice. Everything seems pretty new & clean. The draws under beds are huge & fit both of our backbacking backbacks + The owners were nice and very helpful in booking our bus/train to Morretes.

Sorry but that is simply not true. There are 2 bathrooms for the rooms that share bathrooms and they both have showers. Besides that there are three rooms with bathroom inside them. So 5 bathrooms, not 1.

Probably one of the nicest/newest/cleanest hostels I've stayed at. Their kitchen is fully equipped and made for an iron chef! Staff (Emelia?) was super helpful and helped me arrange bus ticket bookings/directions and even offered to hang my laundry for me! It's about a 15 min walk into centro. Located in a safe, clean and quiet part of town. Flashpacker friendly (power units for each bed). Unfortunately it felt really empty as Curitiba seems to get a bad rep for being boring. Don't pass it up!
