We stayed in Knockree while walking on the Wicklow Way. The hostel is located just 200 meters from the Wicklow Way so it is a very convenient stay. The staff itself is used to hikers staying here so they can give very good advice . The breakfast is good value for money. The room was very clean and the facilities were perfect. The only downside is that they were unable to prepare us a lunch pack (as advertised) but they allowed us to take anything we needed from their "free food" fridge.

Good hostel - recommended....

Fantastic hostel and location but bring your own beer unless you want a 5K walk or an expensive taxi to the nearest pub or shop. We will be back for sure. Loved it. Thank you :)

it's a wonderful place, we really enjoy our time there! we felt like home.

Security: anyone having an electronic key could have entered the hostel with friends and staid for the night, it might be a good idea to have someone check the entrances at night.

Don't miss this hostel!! Gary and Jenny are lovely and it's in a great location for exploring the wicklow mountains.

Amazing hostel with spectacular views, long walk from the nearest bus stop, but doable!

A lot of children (scout) noisy it's normal but running in the Hostels and in the steps... early in the morning and nobody to say... please be quiet and walk don't run inside....

we had a great time at the hostel. the only downside was that the alarm kept going off. There was a large group there at the time, so maybe you could explain to large groups how not to trigger the alarm, so the other guests have some rest! Many thanks
