a good basic stay , not so much tings to do in a winter time except walking to the Heads

Old big house with views of the lake, very nice. Hostel has all the facilities although the bathrooms were a little distant. The friendly staff to provide information

I would not hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a clean, well run place to stay in Knaysna. The cleanliness of the hostel and helpfulness of the staff were superb. It's five stars from me.

Overall, a great experience staying at the Knysna Backpackers. The owners, Isle and her Mom, are really accommodating and friendly. If you are looking for somewhere chilled out to stay, this is the place in Knysna.

An amazing hostel with the most amazing staff. Despite the bad weather I still had plenty to do and Iyanga on reception was really helpful with everything. A really well-equipped kitchen and nice communal area and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are wanting to visit Knysna.
