Good hotel in a good location, the staff were hands down the nicest people I have ever dealt with in a hotel. Helped us book tours and gave us great recommendations to eat. The rooms were nice, clean however the beds were slightly uncomfortable. Overall a great hotel and would recommend to friends to stay there!

After the crazy taxi trip around Hanoi, we arrived hostel safely. The staff so helpful the service and breakfast was good. Smaller then imagined but very clean and welcoming. Great location hostel, funny to hear a fork music came from nearby temple The pure water in the lobby was so very well worth the extra. We stayed also in D’fond hostel in Catba island for a night but the service is not as good as Koto hostel

My stay at Koto was great. The staff were so friendly and really wanted to help me out with everything. I arrived at midnight and there were two staff to check me in and book my tours for the next day. Nothing was a problem for these guys. Internet, laundry service, tourist information, maps and more were all provided at any time and made my stay in Hanoi very fun and easy. Facilities were nice and clean, good to come back to after a big day out and about in Hanoi.

when arrival to hotel and check in the room, we slow down at lobby to talk and ask staff about Hanoi as well as information of the trips and advised for two one day trip to Halong and Perfume pagoda but ended up, we chosen the Halong bay 1day trip that was amazing trips!the price we paid a little bit cheaper than other people on same boat. They made us feel very welcomed, like stay in my home,we really enjoyed it. Hiuh,Linda and all are very friendly and honest. The room is clean and comfort.

The staff at this hostel is very friendly and helpfull and they knew everything and the name of guest as well and they greeted us by our names and served us a cup of pure water every time we came and went. They spoke very good in English, the Double Room we stayed with it was very nice decoration and clean, but not really big and this would be better if its mattress was changed for new one.

The hostel is Ok, could be more clean. The staff is super-friendly and most of time it is a even tiring, they are quite pushy to take their tour as well. Breakfast are served in the other place - their sister hotel. When we came to Hanoi second time , we chose another place. Hostel is not expensive, but you can get more for that price

I was booked on the wrong tour by the lady working there and she would not refund my money. The mattress springs dug into my back and hurt a lot. The TV is so far from the bed everyone turns the volume up way to loud. This is most certainly not a hostel, it is a hotel, and they have conflicting signs about the name i.e. hostel or hotel. Overall a bad experience. Most of the staff was very nice though sans the lady who ripped me off and blatantly lied to me. Stay somewhere else.

Staff were friendly, sometimes overly so - they walk you across the road for breakfast and talk to you every time you pass! Rooms were good size and clean, and showerroom was decent. They helped when my boyfriend's flight was cancelled, and arranged taxis/pickups to airport. Only downside was tour we booked which was overpriced, and poor quality (mouldy stale bread for breakfast), so be careful when booking tours.

Staff are very friendly - sometimes overly so! Rooms were clean and good sized, good bathroom. Decent breakfast at their hostel over the road. They were very accommodating when my boyfriend's flight got cancelled. Halong bay tour booked with them was disappointing though - was very difficult to understand what difference in price was for - we opted for the superior but food was limited, breakfast was moudly, stale bread and the guide wasn't very good.

Nice and clean place in a good location, but what really made our stay great was the amazing and super helpful staff! We booked our halong bay 3 day tour, sapa homestay and open bus ticket through the hotel and the tours were great and highly recommendable and in between them the hotel would have a room ready for us free of charge. Twice. Great place!

The Deluxe Twin Room I stayed at was very nice and so huge room, with the good view overlooks in the alley and so good for sleeping. Very helpful staffs who always took I and my girl friend to cross the crazy traffict road and the tour they organized for me a little bit expensive but this was deluxe trip and you should bear in mind that you can get what you pay for. I and my love ones definitely will come back here again in the next 2 years

This hostel was awesome. The crew was the best people I ever founded in a place. They were so kind and were always looking to help you and to make you feel at home. If I go once again to Hanoi, I deffinitively go to this hostel. Thank you very much guys!

Stafff in Koto hostel is extremly helpful and especialy nice. Usually you feel like you are in 5*hotel. They always open you door, offer you water after you arrive, help you carry luggage everywhere, bring you extra blanket, heater or tea., etc. Rooms are clean and simple but the mattress is uncomfortable. The price includes breakfast which are simple but very good.
