This place is amazing, it is right on the beach, facilities are clean, there's aircon, you actually step out of your room into the sand. Beautiful!! Staff was super nice and helpful.
empty the bins in the room, as rats come in at night, more power points as there was only 3 plug ins to a 6 bed dorm. shower/toilet/tap water was yellow. wifi was temperamental but speedy. its on the far end of pattya beach. 10-15min walk to walking street, but everything in lipe is walkable. very spacious and airy with fan/aircon compared to the other hostel on the island. there is only two hostels on lipe so prices is the cheapest you can get. not the best value but worth it for koh lipe
Great hostel to stay. And the only place that's cheap on Koh Lipe. Can't understand why people are complaining. They have lockers, close to the beach, close the everything to be exact. And it's logic you have sand everywhere because the hostel is actually on the beach. Wifi comes and goes. I had a great time there.
I loved the location right on pattaya beach so easy to get around and about 10 mins walk to the walking street. They overbooked quite a lot of the time, there was so much sand on the floors, the door just closed with no key or security. The water in the taps was yellow it was really off putting.
Could be a bit cleaner, but overall a nice stay and the location directly at the beach is just fantastic! Price is also okay for Ko Lipe.
When I stay the hostel at the period, the water is very yellowish an the floor is full of sand. They need to sweep the floor frequently if not the sand will drop at the bed. Other that that is ok.

Floor of the dorm is textured cement so it is always covered in sand (impossible to sweep). There is no common area or kitchen, and they won't rent you a towel (even with a deposit). The dorm door doesn't lock and when I was there there was a very drunk and beligerent "guest" bothering people. The staff said they'd have him removed, but he was back at midnight just as drunk.
The dorm was too far from the Walking Street. Coming back at night, it was slightly difficult as the sea level rose.. Need to walk into other resorts just to bypass the water. No dorm key... the door was left open all the time. For now, this was acceptable (safe), but I could not imagine such safety in the longer run.

Cliff and his wife Ruth (Mali Resort) are excelent hosts on an island that is not so hospitable. This hostel was a pleasant surprise in a sea of disapointment on Koh Lipe. The locals are oblivious to the fact that tourism and the sea are this islands lifeline. The island gets billed as Pinache with a high price tag. PINACHE No. The island is surrounded by a ring of trash that washes ashore on all beaches at high tide. Perhaps it is time for mother nature to reclaim this island?
