good ensuite bathroom.bed was not even single and in middle of room in 3 bed dorm?? no kitchen to use. bit of walk or bus ride, on river but out of town. many young people staying there, not really a backpacker hostel.

Not the best place to stay. WiFi costs, kitchen is a kitchen but you have to provide your own utensils, clean place, 20 min walk into old town.

It was very nice. If I ever come back to Salzburg I would stay at the same place.

Although this place has a lot to offer, great breakfast included, running track/football fields nearby and gym, it is lacking atmosphere and reminded me of being in an institution. Expect a 10 min walk from last tram stop if you are carrying heavy pack. I chose a 3 bed dorm, they took a two bed room and threw in a mattress - which meant we had to climb over each other's stuff.. not impressed.

Way out of town and directions not clear (walk 6 minutes which way?!) totally characterless, bar doesn\'t open until 8pm and all you can get to eat there is pizza, crisps or peanuts. 1 computer in lobby with no access to USB port. The 3 bed dorms are actually 2 bed rooms with an extra bed wedged in the middle of the room. You need to wait a long time at reception until one of the girls gets round to speaking to you. Very expensive and not at all worth it.

This is hostel is really a dorm during the school year, but during the summer it is a quiet, clean, friendly place to stay. I visited Salzburg twice this past summer and stayed here both times. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station - just follow the river, so very easy. You can rent bikes, buy food in the cafeteria, and use the computer for free. The rooms are clean every day just like a hotel. Wonderful place!

If it reminds me of my years spent in a college dorm, it is a great place. Fact, it was a great place. Great rooms and shower inside. Somehow I ended up being the only one in my room of 3 beds... Mistake, perhaps but I loved it. A little bit of a walk from the main plaza but it is peaceful along the river. Definitely would use it again.

Very sterile place outside town, only ever saw four people in the bar in two nights. Good facilities thought (inc gym!)

The staff wa very friendly and the room was very cute. Keep in mind that this is a hotel, not a hostel. They don't have wifi, but they do have 4? per day wired Internet in all the rooms, if you bring your own cable. The beds were quite comfortable and the bathroom clean. Still, glad we only stayed one night.
