The staff were despondent and quite unhelpful. Despite confirming they would pick us up from the bus, they were not there. To get to the bungalows, you need to climb up a steep dirt track. View is really nice. No hot water.

we arrived at 4.30 am in Mancora and we passed this information to the hostel, the answer was we have to wait until 7 am when they open the reception, so we waited about 2 hours in front of the door that someone lets us in. the bungalow was not very clean, many dead insects on the bed and in the bathroom. a mosquito net is available but it's not in a good shape. somehow we had the feeling the owners don't really take care of the hostel and its facilities.

Location is on top of steep hill from town/beach. You can hear the music from the bars till the wee hours of the morning. Not conducive to a tranquil stay if that's what your looking for. If your looking for peace and quite I recommend the beaches of Vichayito 7 km south of Mancora, lots of Hostels there to choose from.

it's a 5min walk from the main street on a small hill. but the view is just great and it's a perfect place to stay and relax! the only downside is, that there is not really a kitchen for guests.

This place is amazing. The only disadvantage is the exhausting way up the hill, you'll have to take about three times a day. But hey, the bungalows are pure luxury and you get an amazing view over Máncora and the Beach, while you're sitting in front of your bungalow, or you're lying in your private hammock. I'll stay here as long as possible!

Beautiful hilltop view over the ocean--but remember it's on top of a hill. The path from the main road to the hostel is a little sketchy feeling. The 5-min climb isn't bad if you're in good health, but it can dissuade you from going out. Kon Tiki is a quiet, relaxing place, a lot different from other Mancora party spots.

The staff were very helpful! It is nice that the price includes pick up from the bus stop as it is quite a steep walk up from the main street in Mancora. Ideal if you want to be in Mancora but also want to escape the parties in the early hours of the mornings. The hostel facilities were good and the room was clean!

Nice bungalows situated on a top of a hill. 5 mins to walk to shops and 10 to beach/nightlife. Friendly and helpful owners.

Awesomely located at the top of a hill over-looking the town of Mancora this was almost the perfect hostal for those who don't want to be in the party vibe (and noise) of Mancora but still be close enough to enjoy all that The town has to offer. The only thing to complain about is the walk down and back from town which takes about 10mins and is on a steep, dirt path and takes you through a slightly dodgy neighbourhood which dosnt feel safe (but I'm sure it is). All in all an amazing place though

Perfect view on the town and the sea. Great spot to chill out. Sometimes the noise from the town is pretty loud during the night.
