Really nice family place, we enjoyed our stay. The staff are very helpful. The view is incredible! I would suggest that it is not the best place to stay in the rain, due to the access. But overall a fantastic experience!
Clean spacious rooms, very clean shared bathrooms/shower, great location. Only downside was that the kitchen had an impressive amount of bugs flying around which made cooking difficult.
Although by car it is quite difficult to find the entrance.once there you are perched on the hill above the town.We were led to believe that it was a party town and it would be noisy but we were not bothered by much more than the noise you experience anywhere in south America.Had read in other reviews about the bad alley and difficult climb to the bungalows but again if you travel south america you should not be phased by this.Cooking facilities were fine.Pleasant place to relax after surfing.

Incredible location in terms of the views, and definitely recommend if you just want to chill for a few days, away from the crowds. The only downside is its in top of a hill side, so its a trek up and down each time. As long as you're okay with that its a winner. Staff/Owners are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would tweak is maybe include breakfast in order to save a trek down to the shops and back.
Unfortunately we did not stay there because it was fully booked. However, we made a reservation on hostelworld and paid the reservation fee. The day after we received an email from the hostel saying that it was a mistake on hostelworld and that they were fully booked. We replied to the email and contacted hostelworld as well but no one seemed to care about the already paid reservation fee.

Hostel is really amazing. Great location on the hill with view over the city. The bungalows really pretty and well equipped. Would love to go back!
mancora can get a tad on a grubby side. this place is blis! high on a hil over looking it all. Mean to stay for one night, ended up staying 4.
This is a great place to relax away from town but still close enough to be there in a few minutes. The dirt track did not put us of popping into the centre, and the walk up takes about 5 mins. Fantastic views from the top! Our room was basic but clean, but did include hammock
