This Hostel was ok.Not one of the best, but also not one of the worst. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. It's up on a hill, so you have to walk a little Bit. When we arrived nobody was a the reception, like on our hole stay, so we waited. The kitchen and the bathrooms aren't really the cleanest. But the view from the nice accomodation room over the City is awsome. So for that cheap price it's perfect, if you just want to relax and get away from that party in mancora.

Good: Free pickup from bus stop; early checkin & late checkout; great view; tranquility. Bad: No breakfast, no wifi or electricity (not their fault as there was a power cut, but no compensation offered); manager is NEVER around, caretaker hardly speaks Spanish, let alone English. Ugly: Way too far from the beach (200 steep steps simply within the property, in a backstreet); overpriced for what it is; wanted 8$ more for a later checkout (for that you can get a full day dorm right on the beach).

We just loved it! The best place to relax, an amazing view!

Biardiful view over the town. bit of a trek up the hill. not too shabby

A lovely place with the best view in town! The bungalows have all you need and so does the common area. Full kitchen at your disposal. This is not a party place, you can find that down town with the other PartyPackers. So you can have best of both worlds :-) The little climb up the hill is not as bad as it seems at first sight! Highly recommended if you want to chill ;-)

Brilliant ambience&view Really bad experience when we extended our stay.Although the owner told us that our 2 rooms were available for next day, we were told the next day 11am that that we had to give up 1 room (attributed to mix up with HW!).Another guest faced this problem the same day We lost the whole day due to this and ended up running around to book tickets etc But the owner allowed to use one room till evening & allowed the other guest to use the common area so that we could re-plan

This is the hostel you want to stay in Máncora, especially if you just want to relax and lay back. The hostel is on a little hill right above the center (5min walk) and the view is just amazing. Especially if you are travelling as a couple it's very romantic. Further it is clean, wifi works well, good water pressure with warm water, very kind hostal family. Altogether just a super choice! The owner even comes to pick you up late in the evening and gives you a ride to get your bus.

Amazing place to stay, such amazing views and the owners are wicked highly recommended !!

Really nice family place, we enjoyed our stay. The staff are very helpful. The view is incredible! I would suggest that it is not the best place to stay in the rain, due to the access. But overall a fantastic experience!

Clean spacious rooms, very clean shared bathrooms/shower, great location. Only downside was that the kitchen had an impressive amount of bugs flying around which made cooking difficult.

Although by car it is quite difficult to find the entrance.once there you are perched on the hill above the town.We were led to believe that it was a party town and it would be noisy but we were not bothered by much more than the noise you experience anywhere in south America.Had read in other reviews about the bad alley and difficult climb to the bungalows but again if you travel south america you should not be phased by this.Cooking facilities were fine.Pleasant place to relax after surfing.
