It was a nice hostel, I loved the owner! There were a bunkbed, desk, chair, and tap in the room, no toilet or shower. But it was clean and lovely. I'd love to stay there again.

Great place to stay close to city and central station. Value for money and I will return next time I go to Brisbane.

Wendy and Chris are really helpful and support in any case. The rooms are small and and could be cleaner for my understanding. Location is pretty good, easy walk to CBD. The most negative point is that Wendy and Chris have to really big dogs that walk around the garden and the building and do everything they want. It's stinks pretty much :-(

The Kookaburra Inn is located in a quiet area very close to the city (within 10-minute walk!). It has clean and lovely rooms, well-equipped kitchen and common room, free tea and coffee, and super fast internet! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We carelessly left a pair of glasses in the hostel and they helped to post it to our address in Melbourne. This is definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in!

Lovely quiet place in a traditional Queensland home, 5-10 minutes walk from the centre, got real Aussie atmosphere, free wi-fi, very very clean, rooms are simple but quiet and do the job nicely if you're looking for relaxation. Not a crazy party backpacker hostel, more like a zen stop! Thanks for the hospitality guys :)

Good hostel. Wifi is working not always good. You need sometimes to go to tke kitchen to get connection. In the library and in the parks there is better wifi. The hostel has a nice place to sit outside. The hostel is in a very quiet street. But sometimes there are guests very loud. That can happen in every hostel or hotel.

Great alternative to regular hostels this place has great character and ideally situated between the CBD and Fortitude Valley. Very friendly staff and perfectly quiet place with every facility you need.

My room was downstairs, little, just a chair in it and a tiny washbasin from which you could hardly get any water. toilets und bath to share. a tiny kitchen rather cheaply and not handy made. the location would have been quiet, but it was very loud because of the doors which had to be banged to close. The bad rating is because of the owners dogs, big german shepherds which were allowed to go into bedrooms - (while showing) - it was disgusting how it stank all night long. and its not hygienic!
