If you're on a sensible budget this is probably where you should stay in Dubrovnik. It may be a 40 minute walk from the old town, but you can get a cheap bus (or a Dubrovnik card) and you're paying 150 kuna for a bed in a private twin rather than 450 kuna for a dorm bed which is what they'll charge you in the old town. Bathroom is clean and water is hot. They also provide a fridge.
Great alternative Accomodation away from the expensive old town. The apartment and bathroom was very clean with towels provided. The room view was amazing!. Although far away from the centre there is a bus stop just down the steps where you can catch the frequent 1A or 1B straight to Pile Gate within 5 minutes at only 15 KN each way. The owner was extremely helpful letting us leave bags after check out and even washing our clothes at a small fee. Negative: It needs air con as it was very hot
Mrs Krile is a very friendly and helpful woman. We arrived early by nightbus, but it was no problem to leave our luggage early with her. We could even use the bathroom to freshen up. Spacious apartment, clean, nice bathroom. Lovely view from room over harbour and beach peninsular. The apartment is right outside the harbour. Busstation is also very closeby. It's a bit further away from the old center, but there is a few bus connections that bring you there right away.
No kitchen facilities only a fridge and no AC so the rooms can get very hot in the summer - this is perhaps reflected in the price compared to other hostels in the Dubrovnik area.
