This is a quiet, well-run hostel by a couple that really want your stay successful. Pedro will show you on the map the best things to do and your room may overlook a pedestrian street that makes you feel Europe right at your fingertips. More of a family or couples place, not the crazy traffic. Lots of personal contact with a local family. Well done and everything new and clean!

I spent just one day in the hostel and I can say the staff is very nice. I received very good tips about what to visit and they offered me a tea on a rainy evening. The hostel has to improve, but overall it was a good experience and I would come back

Rubik Kupik has the best staff ever!! (: Wonderful Pedro and Katya are kind, helpful, honest and caring just like your favourite mom and dad. Ask them for directions, sights to see, events - they know a lot or they will find out it for you! Though the hostel is relatively new it builds original atmosphere (a house it is in is from XIX century!), the location is very good - easy to reach Porto centre on foot. Breakfast was delicious with fresh baked buns and the whole stay was lovely! Thank you!

Booked hostel last minute for Festa de São João. Was very easy to find, near Trinidad metro station and it sits on a popular street. Very good location as it is short walk to main square and main sights. Not too far away from the river either, perhaps a 15 minute walk. Hostel itself is fairly new but it is very very clean and the facilities are very up to date! The owner, Pedro, is a very nice host and makes you feel right at home. He gives great advice and directions. Very good experience.

Simple and clean, but rooms cramped in with bunk beds and lockers were seriously lacking atmosphere and decoration. The roof top/garden also looks very plain, too. Seems as if the hostel is not quite finished. No security code or anything like that at the entrance door (individual lockers though). Staff was nice and helpful.

It's a very promising place. Good value for money, helpful staff, and a fairly good location. The significant problems seem to stem from their having run out of money before really finishing things. Some of the bathrooms have no extractor fans, and the showers leak a bit. The garden is very pleasant already, but could be truly beautiful with more work. I hope they can make the few necessary changes soon.
