Dirty. Awful shared bathroom facilities. It is quite cheap and is quite close to Ayala but there are a few in the area that must surely be better than this place. The worst thing was the staff didn't seem to comprehend the 10% we had paid here on Hostelworld. They insisted on us paying more than we owed and even when I corrected them they treated us with contempt for the rest of our stay. Don't bother staying here.

The original area, as shown in the pictures, was under renovation and so we stayed at another location. The place has a lot of character, but in a cheap, grafitti plastered way. Security was very poor. TThe toilet was missing it's seat, there was no working shower (just a tap and bucket). The bed was large, but very well used and I doubt it had seen a scrub in a while. The staff were friendly though and it was very cheap. The common room is comfy though and the bar is a good place to relax.

I have nothing against dirt. Accommodation is indeed not so expensive. But the dirt is of a thousand years. And that's really disgusting. The rat on the ground floor was watching from a distance.
