This hostel is poor, even by India's standards. Like most travellers, I was tempted to stay here as it is cheap and I am on a budget. I expect a certain level of 'slumming it' when travelling in India, but this place was awful. The location is down a dark alley, as other commentators have said, making it very dangerous. The owner is essentially a scam artist, for example, when I asked to be taken to the official Indian government tourist depot he instead took me to his mates agency down the road
